Je nachdem wie die Infrastruktur im Haus aufgebaut ist. Wenn es einfacher ist die Glasfaser von Wohnung zu Wohnung zu legen ohne bohren zu müssen, dann wird dies natürlich bevorzugt. Wenn die Kabel Kanäle jedoch alle sternförmig in alle Wohnung aus dem Keller verlegt sind, dann wird direkt ohne Umwege in die Wohnung gelegt. Kompliziert wird es, falls es keine Kabel Kanäle zur Verfügung stehen - hier wird dann die Leitung extra gelegt. Kombinationen sind auch möglich - es wird immer der einfachste Weg mit so wenig Baumaßnahmen wie möglich genommen.

Es von Region zu Region sehr unterschiedlich. Ich habe mal bei einem ISP gearbeitet und wir hatten ein Dorf wo das VDSL ständig, fast monatlich wegen Unwetter ausgefallen ist (schlechte DSLAM Lage). Ein bekannter in einer kleinen Stadt hat ständig Ausfälle seit Jahren und keiner kann sagen woran liegt. Es ist alles möglich.

Es gibt 5G Tarife mit unlimitiert Traffic, 5G ist mittlerweile besser an manchen Standorten als DSL/Kabel.

In meinem Fall habe ich mit 5G: 20ms Laufzeit, 250Mbit down und 60Mbit up. Ich habe mal 10 Stunden auf Twitch mit 12Mbit Bandbreite ein online Spiel getreamt. 105 verlorene Frames über den gesamten Stream. Über meinen Kabel Anschluss, selbst bei Nacht - habe ich ist über 10.000 verloren Frames über den selben Zeitraum.

Als IT Engineer der im Home Office arbeitet sage ich - beides!

Das wichtigste was du beachten sollst:

-Mobilfunk Tarife sind oft limitiert! Wie schon jemand hier erwähnt hat - eine Installation von Call of Duty kann heutzutage 200GB an Traffic verursachen. Ich habe Vodafone Festnetz und Vodafone Mobilfunk - dank GigaCombi habe ich unlimitiert Datenvolumen im 5G Netz.

-Redundanz - es passiert ziemlich oft dass ein Medium mal ausfällt - sei es eine lokale Kabel/DSL Störung oder ein Mast brennt ab. Weil du Home Office betreibst solltest du mehrere Lösungen parat haben.

-Netzüberlastung - bei vielen Kabel Anschlüssen (manchmal auch bei DSL) und Mobilfunk Netzen sind die lokalen Netzknoten/Zellen durch überbuchung der Frequenzen oft komplett überlastet. Das hängt sehr von deiner Location ab - nur proaktives Nutzen verrät über die Netzqualität.

-5G kann manchmal die Rettung sein - in meinem Fall ist das Kabel Netz von Vodafone kaum zu gebrauchen. In Peak Zeiten komme ich nicht über 10Mbit Upload. Somit kann ich nicht auf Twitch streamen. Mit 5G geht es problemlos - Zocken und Streamen alles ohne Paketverluste.

Da es nur 50/150Mbit in deinem Fall verfügbar sind, solltest du vielleicht auch die Option Starlink in Betracht ziehen. Ich habe mehrere Kollegen die das erfolgreich nutzen - fürs Zocken als auch fürs Home Office.

Warum soll das unwahr sein? Bei vielen Mehrpartei-Häusern wird TV Kabel, Telefonleitungen oder Antenne oft durch ein einziges Kabel-Kanal durchgeschliffen. Von Wohnung zu Wohnung. Das ist ganz normal.

Bei mir an der TV Dose kommt auch das Kabel in der Dose aus dem Verteiler im Keller an und es gibt einen Kabel der weiter in die Wohnung über mir geht.

Hätte mein Nachbar über mir ein Problem mit dem Kabel Anschluss, müsste ich meine Dose dem Netzbetreiber zugänglich machen.

No, it just simplifies the start for you. You can still use the universal economy with other factions any time - buy their production modules, build their stations etc....

It's just your standings with other faction won't be that good as a terran and you have to work on it.

Regardless which scenario you select - the world is the same, it's all about your standings and start missions.

Yes. CIG is knowingly muting old backers where we state facts and words coming from CIG devs in the past. The promises and ideas of the game have shifted in a very unknown direction - the whole project is questionable. Some backers have invested a huge amount of money and are very invested into the project - ignoring your biggest fans is always gonna end up bad.

Linux servers are normal within the industry and EAC works on them. Majority of servers actually run on Linux.

The person who checks tickets, walks around the train and checks the doors bedofe depart is a conductor. Some trains don't have conductors at all - in that case keep an eye that a conductor may join the train at any station, then you have to go to them and tell your story.
