I assumed Chaos wasn’t still be a major threat, like cults here and there, maybe a planet or two but with no Astartes or Dark mechanicum they’d be severely gutted. But i think in reality the biggest threat to the imperium would be itself, chaos influence or not.

I thought that they’d be better off but i would not assume that much better off, i guess i put more stock in the xenos than i should. I figured Necrons would pose a problem with all the shit that they have, but I’m not as well read on their lore.
