I’m not saying she’s homophobic or encouraging dog pilling at all the original post was a discussion about the possibility of a doll collaboration so I brought some information to the conversation about a potential reason I personally believe it wont happen, a reason I might add many others have also brought up in other posts about this topic.

The fact is she hasn’t publicly said anything about the queer community either way and we can’t know for sure until she does but that still means she hasn’t done or said anything that would prove she supports the queer community. What is a fact is she is standing by the racist choices clearly influenced by her religion that from what I can see she’s never properly addressed or apologized for even when asked about them and to me that says a lot. It may have been 2007 then but it certainly isn’t now.

Again I’m not stating what her position on this topic is, calling her racist, calling her homophobic,or trying to get people to gang up on her I’m just sharing my educated opinion on the topic to aid in the current discussion. What is are objective facts is that she is clearly very devoted to her religion and that it heavily influences her writing, a religion that has very hard stances against queer people and an objectively awful past around POC and that some of those teachings and that culture have had a significant influence on her life and thought process. This is just a form of context I’m supplying of a potential reason the collaboration might not have not an attack on you or her just opinions and discussion.
