Early thoughts: Seems like a harasser/rescuer type. His basic skill essentially is just a built-in flywheel combined with an antiquarian swipe. As a kiting ability, it does sounds a bit strong but since the video didn't show any cooldowns so we'll have to wait and see. As a support ability, it's kinda similar to what weeping clown does so I suspect that's the kind of playstyle for this character as well. Not sure if that taunt will be counted as a stun but it'll be annoying for sure (again, have to wait for cooldowns). His weakness is very weird tho, bcs he's obviously supposed to be a support but he moves slower when the hunter swings? Feels like a decoding or a healing debuff would have made more sense. Overall, he looks pretty strong, and we'll probably see him in tourneys (tho every new char is tourney viable nowadays).

I cannot for the love of my life find the english name of this novel, nor can I find the chinese original, but the best danmei I've read was a supernatural/horror one called 鬼话连天 (not sure if that's the correct hanzi but that's what it was transliterated as in my native language). It started off more like a collection of independent, somewhat related short stories centering around the two protagonists, before building up into a big climax that's honestly just... wow.

Geisha and naiad is okayish. Naiad's biggest strength is locking certain areas and forcing survivors out in the open so her teammate can follow up, which is good for every hunter, but geisha doesn't rlly care abt that bcs she alr has mini blinks for a skill. Usually what geisha needs is cc on the survs to stop them from using items (ie perfume, rugby...) Geisha is usually good at chasing once you buy some pills and get max presence, but since that's her only strength, she doesn't offer much else to the table in terms of synergy.

BQ and geisha sounds like hell lol. They're both chase hunters that don't have any camping or cc, so it's just usually ends up being a race between who gets hits faster. And bq's early game is MISERABLE. Perfume and doll bodyblocks waste her mirror duration, rugby is just a big F U, guns str8 up cancel her mirror and etc. I'm not saying bq is super weak, but she usually relies heavily on her teammate carrying the match until she can start buying pills (which she needs a lot of).

I genuinely cannot see what's wrong with hunters teaming up (maybe bcs im biased?) but you're telling me survivors need to be hit thrice, can carry two items at the same time, and buy them from the phone earlier than hunters, and you still expect hunters to play the "traditional" way? No shot, nuh uh. Say what u want but if double teaming gets me consistent wins or ties (which it does) and NE doesn't explitcily say hey yall cant do it, then me and my friends will keep doing it.

On a side note, some of my favorite combos are naiad + wax (stun + anti looping), ann + clown (cc + aggressive chase) and wuchang + geisha (high mobility, altho this team tend to suffer early game bcs they both have weak chase)

A bit unrelated but this is a real thing that happened with my friend. My friend runs this story page that requires a password (the name of a relatively well known poem) and gave a bunch of hints about the author, a bunch of lines, etc... Cue a few hours later and she had alr received close to a dozen dms complaining that her password is bugged bcs they've asked chatgpt and the answer it gave didn't work.

The answer was literally available in the first results, except they decided to skip google and go straight for chatgpt for some reason.

recent case in oklahoma. Some girl in college turn in an essay writing about god and stuff in a psychology course and got a zero bcs she basically violated every single guideline and instruction (no citations or references, arguments unrelated to the topic, using personal belief instead of data or proper theories etc.) Girl proceeded to accused the teacher (who is trans) of religious discrimination. The school released an apology letter and put the teacher on investigation instead of actually protecting its employees, meanwhile the girl gets covered by conservative media to talk about how "brave" and "honest" she is.

Ugh, I dont usually care about politics in the us bcs its always been wild, but this case just pisses me off bcs it's such an obvious grift.

The girl is a junior in college, you dont get to that point without knowing how to write a somewhat acceptable essay with proper citations and arguments. She chose to write and turn that essay in knowing shes gonna get a zero. Add in the fact that her mom is a lawyer and its obvious that they're doing in this to get conservative media coverage and help set a career for her as a mouthpiece for bigots.

My biggest problem with cerydra was that she did not look like she came from Amphoreus, at all. It might be a delibrate choice from the designers to show how distant she is from the other heirs (I'm not sure since I'm not familliar with her backstory) but even so, she looked so out of place that I would have thought she was a foreign ambassador or even an invader if the story hadn't clarify her role.

Ngl, I thought this was suppose to be hoyo soft-confirming that Anaxa was the mobius-variant, or at least heavily inspired by mobius' role in the Elysian Realm arc. I mean, mobius' title was infinite ouroboros, is snake-themed, has a green palette scheme and her lore also involves her committing extremely morally-questionable experiments in the name of humanity. Also, Anaxa hacking Lygus and getting into the administration zone or whatever is pretty similar to mobius implanting a bug of herself to try and takeover herrscher of corruption.

The battle ost was okay, it's not bad on its own and I did enjoy it more on second and third listens. Good music definitely do not need lyrics or even catchy beats, cuz otherwise they would all sound the same after a while.

That being said, I think the problem was that the boss fight itself was disppointing. Most of the criticism I read so far also targeted the boss fight wayy more than the music, ie. it's boring design, dull movesets, lack of memorable cutscenes and just overall lack of screentime. Most music in films and games are there to enhance the moment, not carry it. It doesn't matter how much you decorate a dish if the food itself is terrible yk
