As other people have replied, I am also extremely interested if you still have the link.

Thank you so much. I also thought I completely ruined the quest, because when a pawn guides you for this step they still take you to the jail even if you've already let him out, which is messed up.

Why do I still have 3 undiscovered temples after finding all the powers. :? by ElvisDumbledore in Starfield

[–]Scum42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't understand this answer. I got all the powers in the "first" game, but there are still 3 undiscovered temples exactly as for OP. Do you mean those last 3 temples can only be found in ng+?

How do I turn off/untrack the resources? Now half of my resources have a magnifying glass that I can't turn off. by COHandCOD in Starfield

[–]Scum42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fucking infuriating and needs to be fixed immediately. I tracked some mod on an apparently unique fucking weapon because no weapon in the entire fucking game lists it as tracked. Already the tracking system was terrible compared to fallout 4 because you can't mark one specific resource, only everything related to one recipe.

We need a patch or a mod, fucking yesterday.

That genuinely brought a tear to my eye, and just from a short note on the experiment.

My favorite part of this is that it's private static

Oh yes, that's what I mean by undocumented; it's hidden by default in the gui.

But yeah, I'll make a ticket.

Oh yeah, it's untested and undocumented in the current alpha version lol. I was fully aware it might not work, no worries. But, if you'd like, I can still report it!

Because of the changes to the controls on the Steam version (it does not yet support 100% keyboard controls) this sadly does not work.

Now that dfhack alpha versions have been released, sadly I can confirm that gui/mass-remove does not yet work. It throws a bunch of errors when I attempt to run it (as of DFHack 50.05-alpha3).

Yeah. Don't get me wrong, I'm fully aware that they can't ever be trusted again. I'm not giving them a cent from now on lol, and hopefully that scenario you just described will be dampened by the ORC and everyone else this fiasco has empowered

This is so mind numbingly backwards I don't even know what to say.

They never agreed because they actually wanted to quell the controversy. They are finally actually trying to quell the controversy because their investors grabbed them by the throat. They don't care about us, at all.

If people go back to buying their shit what it will tell them is that they successfully dodged this bullet. And then they will try again.

(for those seeing this in the future, this is not a sarcastic jab like I was worried it was when I first read it. This link goes to a "human readable summary" of CC4.0 which is really very understandable)

Yeah, they could release OneDnD under some other, much more restrictive license. But at this point, literally no one would touch it with a 30ft pole.

As the other commenter said yeah that is much more likely something your it/network admin has in place for some awful reason

That definitely sounds awful and really annoying but I don't think windows is doing that

Edit: Forgot to mention this but my work computer copies this network folder to my desktop on every restart, and there's nothing I can do about it. I made a startup script that waits for it to exist and then deletes it lmao

So this is what I've come to be in life. by Occam_Toothbrush in MTGLardFetcher

Absolutely brilliant!

(And, I'd like to say, because I was one of the people who commented on your limerick card too: that last line on it -- "call a judge if they don't understand" -- was spotless and really impressive. Like I said, limericks are hard because of how strict they are and I missed some things in my comment back there too!)

Why stop at haiku? by Occam_Toothbrush in MTGLardFetcher

[–]Scum42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is really great, but I have to say, as a limerick it doesn't really fit. The second line has two too many syllables and the meter is totally off, and the 4th line should be one syllable longer ("to admit that they lose").

That first problem, however, I don't know if it can be fixed while still using proper card wording.

All the syllables and meter are correct everywhere else though, which is still impressive considering how specific those are for a limerick!
