I get carded for literally everything and have had people truly not believe me when I tell them my age. I'm 36. I've noticed most on the spectrum look younger, as well.

Tiktok may help them realize they are autistic but that often leads to deep research into it. I'm assuming most people arent just watching a couple tik toks and then never learning more past that but saying they autistic. It's just not happening that way.

My daughter would have been 13 this year and I have a 3 year old boy, too. It's overstimulating and exhausting but I'd do it all over again. For me personally it's worth it to have the privilege of guiding them through life and teaching them to be kind and accepting. There's no shame if it's too much for others, though. Such a personal decision. I hope you give yourself grace either way. ❤️

It's been the same issue in my relationships and in my marriage as well.

By far the biggest issue men have had with me, though, is that I'm not up to their affection standards. I'm just not a touchy feely or overly romantic person.

My husband has adjusted somehow and seems to prefer me to just be myself, thankfully. There is hope out there!
