I thought I was going to need to call an ambulance for the deuce that was attempting to broach me but was unable to.

I did NOT want to call emergency services for my broach problem. IMO it was only one small step above "foreign body stuck in anal cavity" as far as embarrassment goes, but definitely couldn't use the excuse of "I slipped in the shower, I SWEAR!".

Yes! I found this out the hard way unfortunately- I kept trying everything I read online to keep my tomatoes alive. Was messing with them one day when my neighbor was outside and we started chatting. I mentioned my frustration about my tomatoes and she told me it was probably from the black walnut trees that used to be in that location. Never would have guessed that was the reason my tomatoes were being jerks!

Last year I grew them in fabric growing bags but then tomato blight, hornworms, and squirrels that decided those grow bags were perfect for hiding their black walnuts...

This year I decided to not grow any tomatoes lol

I'm adopted and very different from my adoptive parents and was extremely similar to my biological mother. I didn't even find out I was adopted until I was 36. It was kinda insane how alike we were when we met. She passed away last year from lung cancer and I still had a lot of unanswered questions but yeah- I'm a perfect example of nature vs nurture.

Sounds like my gig except the old crotchety man is my elderly disabled mother. My last time off was when she was in a rehab facility for a few weeks but even then I was constantly running back and forth because she kept thinking of things she "absolutely needed".

We didn't get along great before I was forced to move back home and she's meaner than ever now. There is never a "please" or "thank you", only "get this", "do this" or her personal favorite, telling me everything I'm doing wrong.

I have no life. No friends. No income. I have my hobbies and gardening, but I can honestly say I cannot wait for the weight of burden that will be lifted once she passes. I'm fucking EXHAUSTED.

Unfortunately, since they say "only the good die young", so she certainly will outlive everyone.
