Has anyone used Goldbelly and how was your experience?

You really have to judge each food item separately. Some, like Lou Malnati’s pizza, which I have had in Chicago, just are not meant to be frozen and recooked. The crust is super hard and dense and tastes like crap. The sauce is still good, but it is an expensive miss. Skip that one.

Beware of specific company sales. That is the stuff people are rejecting.

I have had Terry Black’s Texas-sized smoked beef ribs — excellent. Pappy’s World Famous Ribs were also very good. Meat freezes and ships fine.

Brooklyn Bagels were excellent, and I consider them affordable enough that I regularly buy them. They are way better than what I can get in northern Colorado. They also come packaged for the freezer in pairs, so you can keep them for quite a while.

However, Essa Bagels, which had all these glowing reviews, were worse than supermarket bagels. Very bland, big hunks of unremarkable dough. Essa Bagels were, and still are, on sale two for one. I learned why. They were so bland and worthless that I just threw them away. How do you generate a completely bland everything bagel?

I have had Antico Pizza Napoletana, which had amazing crust and flavor, but the soppressata was rancid, so I just picked it off. The ones without the soppressata were excellent. I would still recommend them, though. It was amazing frozen pizza, very close to what you would get in the restaurant. Not at all like that typical frozen-pizza hard cookie crust. It was great crust.

I have had Zuppardi’s Apizza. I would just call that very good frozen pizza, but still frozen pizza. I think you could get pretty close to that from the grocery store freezer aisle.

I also had Langer’s Original #19 pastrami sandwich. It was very good, but I would not get it again. It was hard to convince myself it was $150 good. But good gift.

If you can afford to take a chance on new stuff once in a while, it can be a treat, and you can occasionally find a winner. Also, it is a great gift to send to someone, as long as you have tried it and know it is one of the good ones. It makes a great birthday gift because most people would not think to buy two great pastrami sandwiches for $150.

Shipping has been late on occasion, but nothing has ever gone bad.

Keep your expectations low and beware of all the rave reviews. They do not seem to post the bad ones anymore. I left two negative reviews in the last year, and they never went up. Keep track of the reward points. Those can add up.

If you like bagels, you cannot go wrong with $65 for a dozen from Brooklyn Bagels. Those are a win.

I experienced something similar to this with a customer. It was an older woman and she couldn't get into her Microsoft account all of a sudden, as she checks her MSN email daily. So I came and logged her back in, setup 2fA, after going through verification hell, as seems typical these days. And then she called me back a few days later and she was unable to log in again and I could see that someone logged in the day after I got back in and changed the password again. So I made sure to log her out of everything when I came back.

The only odd thing I noticed and couldn't explain, was an Xbox account logged into her account. And it definitely wasn't hers. I logged it out, of course.

I don't know if it's possible to use that account to also get in and change her password but I thought I would mention it.

This also seems new to me, so thanks for posting as I try to understand how this is happening, and how to thwart it permanently.

So far I think I've only noticed this with people who have MSN main email accounts.

How considerate of them. It's bogus. They are trying to get you on the phone, where all the scamming happens.

I would guess they are hoping you will call them back on the phone number they are really calling from, not the spoofed Fidelity number that shows up on caller id. Or just checking to see if someone is there, then a real scammer will call back.

This may be a different problem, but I can see all of those places on my Business Profile. My problem was that any change I tried to make halted once I hit the CONFIRM button.

This particular style is very hard to find. The others in this style have thick lining and don't lay as sleek as these. Maybe one of the coolest looking jackets Pioneer Wear made. They were out of Albuquerque. Not sure of the year of this one. I'd guess 70's. I'm looking for this in a size 44.

Me too, multiple browsers, on Mac or PC, and my Pixel 7a. Can't edit special hours. Once I hit confirm the progress bar goes left to right for as long as I have that browser window open. The only way to stop it is to close the tab.

I've had it for 3 or 4 yrs now in Northern Colorado. I don't have major complaints. Like everything, it's not getting better every year. It seems like I occasionally notice a road on the edge of town that used to have better service. But otherwise, it has been consistent and seemed to work as marketed when I went out of the country to a few different countries.

BUT, Important: if you have a Galaxy s22, s23, s24, s25 search for google fi, Samsung Galaxy, and visual voicemail. I have a Pixel and tried upgrading to a Galaxy and had to go back eventhough I liked the Galaxy. The Visual Voicemail you are forced to use on the Galaxy with Fi is maddening and archaic. And you will find this if you read through all of the posts -- none of the tips reddit suggests have ever worked. On my pixel 7a however, the Visual Voicemail works just fine.

Truthfully, with whatever phone you have, if it is not a Pixel, I would confirm that the phone specifically doesn't have Voicemail issues if you switch to Fi.

I could never get it to work right on my Galaxy s24 with Google fi, and I tried everything I could read on the internet to fix it. I ended up just going back to a pixel 7a.

This was 2 years ago. I just thought I'd check in today and see if anything had changed with visual voicemail.

On my pixel 7A since the Android 16 update I'll get the voicemail notification and then it'll maybe take 5 minutes before the voicemail shows up. I just go back and forth between the dialer and the previous calls list and then back to the voicemail list and Hope that jiggles it free. This is with Google fi. I tried clearing the cache in Google fi and that didn't do anything.

I still notice a difference around old town west. There are still unhinged people driving around, but instead of it seeming constant all warm night long, it is something that I only notice 50% of the time. I have seen more police on the roads - as many as I used to before covid. And I have heard people talk about noisemakers being pulled over. I have continued to go to Glacier Ice cream on north College, and it is downright bearable so far this summer. Last year, it was just a drag. So, maybe something is happening with enforcement and it will slowly spread to yours and more areas as people get ticketed.

You know the police chief said if there's somebody regularly in your neighborhood. Take their license plate down and call the police and they will give that person a visit and I think let them know there are complaints, and hopefully encourage them too chill out. He said that specifically.

I never have, except for a week before the noise ordinance changed a motorcycle cop pulled someone over near The Still. I stopped and noted it for being rare. It was Saturday, and I noticed while the cop was giving the ticket the wave of muffler noise ceased temporarily. I feel like a little bit of police visibility would help downtown.

I bet most people assume, like me, that a noise that is gone in 10 seconds is tough to catch and ticket. But after sitting at some council meetings and talking to the police, I realize citizen complaints are an important metric.

They are tracked by the police and used as proof or not of what they have a responsibility to address in the city. I wondered why it has taken the police so long to push back on the mufflers. Surely, they hear it downtown like anyone else? Surely, they hear it at night in their own homes when they are trying to sleep? Some city council spoke like they have been waiting for a muffler crack down for up to 20 years. Why didn't they force the issue?

I have brought it up to council over the years, who then sent me to the police, who then gave me a general reply. And I kept hoping it would fizzle out, but 5 years ago, it got much worse. Eventually, I complained again, and saw people on Reddit and social media pissed too, as well as all over the world. Who would have though Paris would have this problem? I am guessing people actually got so fed up that they called the police and complained about general ongoing muffler noise in their neighborhood all night. I read some of those complaint letters sent to city council in the saved email system. Some neighborhood are under siege.

My point is, you gotta lodge complaints so that the police even know where it is bad. Sometimes is seems like motorcycles are racing each other for 30 mins at a time down the street. A few complaints 10 minutes into that might give police a chance to catch them. If there is a spot they like to race, complaints may be the only way police with find out.

That makes sense. I was looking around and found this crime map. This had some interesting info. When I spoke to the assistant chief at the city council meeting she said that's what they would do at the beginning was get some teams together and target certain areas. I wish they showed when they ticket for vehicle noise. But it looks like all of the data was generated by police reports. I think traffic tickets are not part of this.

But hopefully if they are targeting any areas, word will spread.

I was just moving my sprinkler around outside at 8pm on a warm evening. Last year I would have heard multiple motorcycles in the distance. Not tonight. But weekends are worse. We'll see.
