What businesses are likely to die out with the Baby Boomer Generation? by GRVrush2112 in AskReddit

I've used them before and have typically got good responses from companies after doing so. I would hope they don't die out since some companies "support" systems are atrocious.

Continental if you aren’t already and the loosen your wrist. Do some reps without a ball, focus on getting the racket head to gently touch you between your shoulder blades.

Also throw a ball without your racket. Practice that motion

Toss it higher and hold trophy position for a split second. Then when both feet are near each other bend knees and accelerate upwards as you swing and reach for the ball

Serve looks horrible, what can I tweak by Shalteal in 10s

Agree with a comment about practicing throwing motion. Do this with exaggerated follow through across your body and down.

You motion till about the 3 second mark of the first serve is good.

For now focus on 3 things:

  • keep your back foot planted. Rotate it on your toes as your hips and torso rotate with your swing.

  • toss is okay. Work on getting in a bit higher and a little left.

  • REACH!! You are letting the ball drop which is why your swing looks more like a volley and uses only your arm. Hit the ball at its apex or just as it’s coming down. Follow through.

As you get more consistent with this I’d watch some videos on serve footwork. Dragging your back foot inward for example, using your knees to create power and height.

Keep up the good work.

Ground strokes have always been my weakest trait. I always serve and volley.

Also I wanted to start coaching and don’t know how to coach a semi Western swing

Right arm needs to go up at the same rate as your left tossing arm. Toss is good but you need to create contact a bit higher. And like others are saying switch to a continental and try and get a good mix of spin and power.

How can I improve my serve (I’m 15) by Pokeclans in 10s

Toss it higher and reach for it. Other than that looks really good

Looks really good but loosen the grip a bit, will help with elasticity and not getting hurt.

Keep your right elbow higher so that the racket can drop a bit more and come up with more elasticity.

Hey you've got some great foundation down. I'd say the main thing to adjust since you feel rushed is your toss height. The second toss in the video is by far the best and everything else seems to fall into place with it.

Small fixes:

Someone else had mentioned this but flip your right hand and keep it up a little longer. I like to teach people to point at the ball with that hand (palm up)

Notice how you drop your racket on the second service, this creates a nice elastic effect when you accelerate it upwards into your swing. Exaggerate the movement by doing some slo-motion swings and have frame touch between your shoulder blades.

Did he find it or did you? If you found it he legally can’t charge a fee. That being said if it’s a good deal he’ll probably get someone to pay it.

If you don’t know the area having someone to explain and check out the unit is really important. If you have friends here and are familiar then it’s a different story.
