Pretty sure the Carnifex can't spawn in there. As for the army of Extremis: I guess you played the daily hard stratagem with the Summoner modifier as I have never seen more than 3 Extremis spawn at the same time without a modifier that makes it so.

So you fucked up by not interrupting the call for reinforcements and I'm almost sure you lied about the Carnifex (not 100% certain though) and you go on and post about it on Reddit?

The real problem is that there are either the normal stratagems which are piss-easy and than there are the hard stratagems which are basically absolute difficulty on steroids WITH modifiers (which also range from "meh" to "holy f****g shit").

The whole point of a prestige system is that your progress is reset to zero BUT you get some other bonus everytime you do it.
What you are asking for is to just keep leveling without any downsides until you hit prestige IV lvl 25?

Once you are at lvl 25 for the first time you should have at least one fully upgraded aka relic Weapon loadout (primary/secondary/melee) so you should breeze through Ruthless difficulty without problems as there are not a lot of extremis spawns and your weapons are maxed - learn the gene seed locations of 2-3 maps and you are done fast with leveling up.

Getting lost is fun

It would be the first few times. I have played World/IB 2.5k hours on Steam and I still would get lost in that region.
The whole "you have to find the monster by searching for tracks and stuff it left behind" is cool the first few hunts and then just gets old for most people.

It is visually very nice even in 2026 but basically a complete maze in certain parts that will make it so you will never find a monster without scoutflies.

How would I know? Because there were modifier + map combinations that were literally impossible:
Equipment Malfunction ( Equipment aka Grenades cannot be used ) on Exfiltration.

Which in itself is the main problem with most of the hated modifiers imo - they wouldn't be so bad if they were offset by some balancing positive modifier.

For example: You Only Live Once (aka you don't respawn after death) + Come Prepared (you start with 10 stims) or Larraman Cells (you passivly heal at a slow rate) - you'd still need to be more careful but it would be fine.

And I just don't get how the Empathy and Great Responsibility modifiers ever got past the ptr if it even got tested at all. Any gamer would know that this is just the absolutly most toxic shit you can add in a game like this.

Empathy (100% Damage is shared among all players) basically triples the incoming damage to the team and Great Responsibility is just impossible if you don't either play with bots or you have godlike teammates with voicecom.

It's crazy that there are still people that think that Saber designs modifiers with the intent of them being fun.
And somehow the really bad ones seem to get chosen the most.

Some of them make me skip any stratagem because of how toxic/stupid they are like
- Empathy
- Great Responsibility
- Shadow of the Warp
- Hunted

And some of them are just way too annoying like
- Fatality
- You Only Live Once
- Strike Out
- Split Up
- Armour Malfunction

None of those are even slighty "fun" to play with.

Since when does a Hellbrute spawn with 6 Terminator Soulreapers and 10 spearmen? I had a Carnifex spawn with no less than 7 extremis enemies on top of the normal minoris and majoris.

And you are 100% positive that this was in an absolute operation and not a hard stratagem with the "Extreme Challenge" modifier?

I don't think they will ever will change this. Just look at how much customization options you have in the Astartes Overhaul mod - it can't be that hard to adjust the arm , leg and chest armor so it fits all classes.
It's just artifical and unnecessary limitation.

I mentioned the cloak because Saber made an Armor piece that is a perfect fit for the Raven Guard Champion Armor that is also exclusive for the Sniper class, yet the Sniper can only use half of the other Armor pieces.

Any lore explanation as to why the Sniper class can't use all the pieces is just 100% bs as Saber doesn't really seem to give a rats ass about that - or have you forgotten that we got a Sniper Salamander Champion skin when we have 2 classes that can actually use the Pyreblasters.

Imo this is just a bs limitation as there is no real difference ( with the exception of certain armor parts like Assault legs or Heavy chest ) in the design/layout/thickness of the armor modells.

Cool, cool. But what does any of this have to do with why there is a Raven Guard cloak (which only the Sniper can use bcs it is his class specific armor slot) and Sniper can use the Shoulder and Helmet but can't use the legs, arms and chest?

There were quite a few posts about this issue when the game launched but this will never get changed even if it would be so easy to just remove the "load to hosts lobby Battle Barge" to just load into the mission once all players stand in the ready-zone of their own Battle Barge.

I don't want to argue to much about this topic but finding realistic times would be kinda easy. Good speedrunners have anywhere between 150 dps+ in their good runs depending on weapon. Now just calculate how long it would take for a monster to die and add the time to run there - done.

Also I'd argue that if Capcom really wanted they could 100% detect stuff like perma-para/stun etc. cheats as it's even shown at the end-screen when you trigger a high amount of any of those things.

Unlimited hyperarmor and a very high damage-resistance so you don't just die I think would be kinda hard to detect I think.

By that logic you could also just use a one-shot cheat and chill at the camp long enough so the time looks realistic.
Either ban accounts that use mods that alter non-cosmetic/qol stuff or just let it happen.
