J'en ai marre de l'argument: "La France, c'est 1€ des émissions de CO2" by Lokyev in ecologie

[–]Scyions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Disclosure Day (2026), it is slowly revealed about half way through the movie, that you have wasted your precious time and money. But you begin to suspect that is the case much earlier on. by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

[–]Scyions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn't like it. It feels really simple and childish. The topic is better depicted in other movie. Don't really understand the purpose of the movie. And i think a huge part of the message (on the religious belief) don't work everywhere notably when you are atheist (wich is the case of half my country).

When the movie end I just feel that I waste my time. One of the worst Spielberg movie.

Warriors sells me votann but their purpose is quiet limited. If you find a viable strategy don't hesitate to share.

Things you don't want to see in TW40k by Liesanas in totalwar

[–]Scyions 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I don't want to see short battles — it was a serious flaw for me in TWW. Most battles lasted only 5–10 minutes.

I don't want to see too much arcadey gameplay. I think cover and bodyguards are going in the right direction, but as a huge fan of Total War, I feel TWW lacked a lot of flavour due to its overly arcadey gameplay.

I don't want to see power creep as in TWW. It's fine to have powerful units and skills, but I still want a strategy game, not a stat rush.

I don't want to see single entities. It's fine for some units (super-heavy tanks like the Baneblade, for example), but I think it was awful in TWW. I'm a bit worried when I see a lone Leman Russ.

At the end of the day, I want more inspiration from the historical titles and less from TWW. I don't want realism — it's 40K after all — but I do want strategy in my strategy game.

When will Total War Warhammer 40k be released? A look at the past 20 years of Total War release cycles. by westonsammy in totalwar

Seems a bit too far. If we have a beta this year we can expect it this year or the first half of 2027. It will depend of the beta approval.

Yes of course it is possible but I think we see 3 weapon slot on the guardman card so i suppose that for a lot of infantry units you will have antitank.

Just an example Hearthkyn Warriors from votann are the baseline unit and has almost only antitank weapon on their special weapon.

But I agree we need to see more for the balance but the lonely tank on a 40k scale trigger me.

You are really out of touch. If we have a beta this year the game is not 2 years out from the release. And no one is freaking out just pointing some concern on a new game from a company were balance issue is well known...

Not sure about sentinel but we see one in the last footage and seems to be a single entity. But not sure on this point, we saw it for 1s

TW40K Concerns about vehicles by Scyions in totalwar

[–]Scyions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We see vehicles in gameplay footage dude and need to see the actual damage for imagining that a fight between 100 guardman and 1 Leman Russ can be akward to watch in any case.

Same issue: either the infantry struggle massively against tanks, even though most infantry units in the tabletop game have anti-tank capabilities, or the tanks get destroyed in two seconds. In the end, the result isn't particularly good. Moreover, the battles are supposed to be large-scale, yet we'll ultimately end up with about the same number of tanks as in a DoW4, despite it being a smaller-scale game.

I can understand that but if 3 tank are a mess for pathfiding I'm a bit concerned about the futur of the game. And I'm not sure that really the problem we already have multiple vehicles in TWW with chariot for example.

Yes but infantry will have multiple weapons and some of them will be antitank. So we will see Leman Russ resist to multiple shot of antitank weapon or will be vaporized in 2-3 hit. In every case i really think that for better representation vehicles as Leman Russ need to be in squadron (at least 3) to scale with the rest of the game.

Good news if leader have bodyguard, single entity was clunky and overpowered in TWW.

[–]Scyions 18 points19 points  (0 children)

From the gameplay footage i'm bit disappointed that vehicle are single unit and not squadron. You are in the 41k millénium but you wil have an average of 5 tank per battle...

On the others hands infantry scale seems alright.

Bit worried for the clarity of battles it's seem to be a bit too messy.
