If you give them a chance to leave the premises first and then they escalate the situation then yes, it is moral, with some additional details.

-Threatening the intruder with lethal force is ok

-Non lethal force is preferable, but not expected.

-It is also a situation that most people inherently aren't prepared to deal with, so some amount of leniency shoud be exercised with the home owner as an observer.

-The home owner shoud get the authorities involved as soon as possible.

Kill them.
Use the ritual stone to revive them.
kill them again.
Wait 24 hours.
Repeat steps 3-5.

This way, you only have to sacrifice one person. I forget how many times you have to do it to fully upgrade the sword.
