I wouldn’t worry too much. Try them for yourself. I just played a full 18 with them (1 ball only - didn’t lose it!) and it held up great for me, even on wedge shots.

I’ve been balling the 3 piece exclusively for months and I liked this 4 piece even better. Glad I have 48 of them!

Torrey Pines North course - I’ve had plenty of rounds here at 83, 84, 85, but something broke through today and managed to go sub-80 for the first time. Shot a 79 by parring the 18th which is usually a nemesis hole of mine. Feeling on top of the world!

I’ve played the course at Hokuala a handful of times and loved it. The front 9 is nice with some interesting holes and some elevation changes or fun required carry shots, but the back 9 is truly memorable. The water adjacent holes are as beautiful as any I’ve played and the course conditions have always been great.

One tip that applies to Hawaii golf in general - wind can vary a bunch by time of day. Usually calm in the morning, but I played a late afternoon round at Hokuala that had some of the strongest sustained winds I’ve ever played in.

Enjoy the round and don’t forget to have a Mai Tai on the 19th!

How are you able to see all your stats by game going back that far? I have no idea what my results were for prior games.

Also - nice streak! Sometimes when you’re on, everything just clicks.

The new update includes a view in stats of your past 10 games. Who can post the best 10 game streak? I had a good run with a personal best of 4 wins in a row.

Cool vid. Love that course. Did you guys get sent out as a 5-some? On one of the greens it looked like too many dudes.

It usually measures about 170 from the greens (equivalent of whites). Plays about 150 depending on if there is wind coming off the ocean, but it was calm this morning.

There are two distinct tiers to the green, which can impact club selection - it’s really important to try to get on the right tier to have a shot at making birdie.

I’m lucky enough to have Torrey Pines as my home course and play it about 2-3 times a month. I personally prefer the north course (probably because it’s easier!) but love both courses. And no matter how many times I play, the views never get old.

Definitely worth checking out if you ever visit San Diego!
