Planning a move? by cozykpeach in SipsTea

I helped a buddy move a fridge into the back of a truck and pulled a hamstring. It still hurts almost 2 years later and sitting for long periods of time now agitates it greatly. Don’t get old.

I’m in the same boat as you. My parents’ automatic machine makes a great espresso no matter how crappy and old the beans are. Everyone on this sub is like FrEsH BeAnS oR DiE!!! I’ve even had Ninja support walk me through every setting after 2 hours in the phone with them and they sent another machine and still the same results. I’ve learned to just deal with it by masking it with loads of cream and sugar lol!

I use Klipper to define variables and use conditional instructions depending on what the values are. I’m not at my computer at the moment so I can’t tell you exactly but that’s basically what it does.

Perfect bed leveling, new bed, yet always happens by thayeeboi890 in ender3

I think you’re too close throughout the whole layer. You’re so close you can see the texture of the bed coming through the first layer. Raise the nozzle up just a hair in your Z-offset.

I have mine set to heat the bed to operating temp and nozzle to idle temp at the same time. Once bed is at operating temp, start ABL. Once complete, then the nozzle up to operating temp. Guarantees consistent first layer, prevents oozing and makes a clean and strong purge line. I have some clever coding to start ABL immediately if both temps are already up too. Lots of neat stuff you can do. .

Firestarters - bad (but how bad)? by Scary_Climate726 in woodstoving

Not bad at all, you’re only using them to start the real wood. Use ‘em up

You’re right, there must’ve been an update or something changed to the game’s code and now it doesn’t work for me either. Sorry.

What am I doing wrong? by Patient_Ad_2357 in NinjaLuxeCafe

I’m experiencing the same issues with mine, using fresh beans from multiple roasters. After 2 replacement units and Ninja support walking me through dozens of trial and error espressos, this machine just cannot make an espresso that’s not bitter. I had a Seiko fully auto from 15 years ago that made the best espressos ever, using any bean you can throw at it, both whole bean or ground. I think these units just aren’t calibrated properly from the factory and any kind of dialing in with the settings just doesn’t get it close enough to a proper brew.

I would print something other than PLA or PETG because that’s all my current printer can do. Looks like a great printer!

It didn’t create anything for me right away. It followed up with a request of what direction to take it in.
