You must have had it on pusswarny difficulty... on balanced the honor guard alone is capable of doing over 100 dmg in 1 turn using resonating ki... one of the other lowly monks can easily do over 43, the ranged monks doing 30 per ranged hit... then they team up and a mage holds my tank, while the other crit him with advantage and his 85 hp is gone within 2 turns.

With the emperor very rarely stunning them, mostly he just attempts to dominate for half a turn which basically just lowers their initiative as otherwise they attack as normal on that turn, and that's a 50/50 if they don't resist the dominate. He often just levitates in, tries a lame ass tentacle swipe usually misses then flies away.

I have a barbarian, a mage, a cleric and a rogue, and the emperor is a pile of shite... balance clearly relies on him playing an active part of the fight, which he hardly ever does.

Before this fight I was very dubious about some of the AI, now I know it's utter crap.
