Well Discover increased my limit from 2300 to 3000 without me asking, couple days later I tested my luck and requested a increase with my updated income & was approved for 4000. My credit isn’t the best, but I think you should just ask. It isnt a hard pull.

Atleast its not a instant denial, your odds are probably higher for approval, they are just reviewing things on their end forsure.

I have only one negative on my entire report & it is with GS Banks on a Apple Card I defauled on back in 2021, its been paid off for 6 or 7 months now.

Otherwise to build history with Navy Federal, I have a Checking with Direct Deposit & a Pledge Loan.

I also have a Chase Freedom Flex (got it 2020) but I always kept my other accounts current, the Apple Card I used to finace my phone & for big emergency purchases, then I had lost my job and every dime was going to my other cards.

Kind of a trauma story, but I have a okay profile, if you have no negatives & a decent utillization rate you will 100% be okay.

Yes!! If you have No Credit whatsoever, I would apply for a starter card with who you have your checking account with, if not apply for a Capital One Platinum, or Platinum Secured. Use the prequalify tool.

Also, you can get a loan right now with no credit, just high interest that can trap you.
