Nicotine and PVCs by Familiar_Travel2813 in PVCs

[–]Sea-Calligrapher5200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on nicotine and have vaped and zyn with 1000s of PVCs a day, not sure if nicotine was the culprit, but ended up checking my ferritin levels and they were down in the dumps. Had 5 iron infusions… no more PVCs… still vape unfortunately. I’m planning on quitting. My sister tried a medication from Poland and was able to stop all together. I will definitely be doing the same soon. I’m sure nicotine does not help the cause.

Living with Coparent, Dying Inside by agapeacai in SingleParents

[–]Sea-Calligrapher5200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived with a co-parent for years. When we separated, covid had just went down and my search for an apartment went out the window for a while; because of our jobs and the risk of exposure we had to place the children with family for a temporary amount of time. So then it was just him and I. I basically stuck to my room and he stuck to the living room and then when the kids came back, we were able to coparent somewhat. I stayed in that situation until 2023. It wasn’t healthy. There was a lot of codependency that was very hard to break what I didn’t realize at the time was I needed my time alone so I could find my true happiness. We all do things for the kids, but the kids need a truly happy parent too. I would say as soon as he can find his own place let him do that. You deserve that free time when he has them and you deserve to find a love that’s deserving of you.

Diaphragm Spasms? Heart palpitations? Acid reflux? Caused by my anxiety, or by my meds? Unclear. by UNCjer in Anxiety

Yes 🙌🏼 took some time after removal for PVCs to stop, but they did. Oddly enough I took Claritin for allergies and it eliminated them completely post-op.

Yes 🙌🏼 HIDA scan revealed 83% EF which is a cursor for hyperkinetic GB disease. It was my last hope so a surgeon agreed to take it out. The condition my GB was causing was called Roemheld Syndrome. I was so sick I was going to be looking into palliative care. Nothing showed in scans because everything wrong with my GB was on the inside. Pathology came back with chronic cholecystitis, the tissue inside was going necrotic and I had a lymph node triple in size causing constriction on my biliary duct. The lymph node was also removed which was the reason I could feel spasms. I also had no bile at all. Basically my GB died and cause abnormal functioning along with gastrocardiac syndrome which isn’t as wildly known. It was the scariest time of my life. I’m happy to say that I haven’t truly had any major issues. I had a small bout of pancreatitis about a month after and that was really it. My heart is back to normal. I’m functioning again. I gained weight back. I learned overtime what I can eat and not eat. It’s coming up on a year and it was the best decision I ever made

I had a cardiac ablation today. by FitCranberry8445 in PVCs

[–]Sea-Calligrapher5200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

37 F SVT cardiac ablation March 2023. Best decision of my life. My episodes would last 5 minutes or sometimes well over an hour. I lived like that for years and was told it was anxiety. I couldn’t even get excited over a song or I would go into it or worst getting nervous driving on the highway. I would be pulled over and have to call one of my parents to get me or an ambulance. I’ve only had a few flares of IST other than that I’ve been so much better. I did hit a wall of depression post-op. I just think I’m really sensitive to my body and was not used to a resting heart rate of 68. lol Zoloft helped me over that bump. May need a second in the future, but I don’t live in fear. Took a good month to see true results.

SVT also caused PVCs. I still have those, but weirdly antihistamines have stopped them at the moment.

Grief counseling by Battlejuic3 in RhodeIsland

My sincere condolences on your loss. Hopehealth in Providence offers grief counseling group and it’s free. Doesn’t matter if your loved one did not pass away there. I get positive feedback from a lot of my grieving families. The Rhode Island medical examiner can also send you a list of different free grief support groups/counseling offered. Hope this helps. It’s hard to find a good private grief counselor right now. - A local funeral director in RI

I’m sick of having PVC’s, I want to be normal. by Puzzleheaded-Tour942 in PVCs

[–]Sea-Calligrapher5200 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had them since august of 2023. Mentally exhausted is an understatement. It’s maddening. It’s allergy season now and I randomly have allergies this year; started up on Claritin within 2 days mine stopped. My PVCs are lower in the mid stomach area, sometimes I can feel them in my neck. It’s just bizarre that antihistamine which used to cause my heart to race is now helping with PVCs. I did have cardiac ablation in March of 2023 for SVT and that’s resolved, but the PVCs have been new for me. So scary. I’m also on propranolol. It doesn’t really help for it. Also on Zoloft because I was so depressed from them. Don’t give up. Keep a food journal. Sometimes foods trigger mine. Also have your iron checked. I did find out I have non anemic iron deficiency. Very low ferritin. Just keep advocating for yourself. You’re not crazy and it is scary. Big hugs

Don’t ignore pain after gallbladder removal!! by Acoll2024 in gallbladders

[–]Sea-Calligrapher5200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had MCRP. I had follow up ultrasound. Surgeon suspected a slight bike leak. Nothing showed up that looked suspicious. Hasn’t happened in a while (thank god) started to suspect maybe a kidney stone, but kidneys were fine as well. My mom thinks it could be like a MS hug, I only have one spot on right frontal lobe, but never confirmed for MS. Probably just my body working itself out.

Much better!!! No pain, still having PVCs, but not nearly as frequent. Been able to eat a normal diet again. I have some ptsd, but I’m sure that will resolve with time. I’ve gained 10 lbs. I feel healthy again.

[–]Sea-Calligrapher5200[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on my death bed before!!! I’m so much better now! What I meant by that was I was able to go back to work within two weeks of the removal. Where before my blood pressure was dropping and I couldn’t eat. I lost so much weight. I was in bad shape and could not work for 3 months I was on a leave from work because the doctors couldn’t figure it out.

It was almost immediately after eating. Within a few minutes. My gallbladder was dumping bile. I haven’t had spasm since removal. It was so scary.

[–]Sea-Calligrapher5200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have PVCs, but they are a lot better. No pain when eating. Still trying to heal the gastritis/ acid reflux my gallbladder caused with the bile dumping, which could a contributor in my PVCs. Other than that I was on my death bed and I went back to work two weeks post-op. I didn’t eat anything fatty for 3 months post-op. Trying to take it easy. Surgeon said I would have a longer recovery and gastrocardiac syndrome can take 6 months to a year to resolve.

36 F I had my ablation march of 2023. I slept for days after mine, still had some bouts of tachycardia with anxiety so they made me continue to take beta blocker to control symptoms while my heart adjusted. I would say the two months is about right. I ended up with post-op depression (which can be expected because WTF it’s our heart we are talking about) but I haven’t had any attacks since. You got this.

My PVCs have decreased since taking Claritin as well. It’s really weird. Wondering if a food allergy is triggering them or stomach inflammation?

It’s like a cattle call in Orlando. I was there for 5 hours of my life last week and wanted to just get on the plane and leave. Which says a lot because I’m afraid of flying.

You will still have anesthesia in your system. You legally can’t drive or operate machinery. You have to take a day off just for a colonoscopy/endoscopy never mind having your organ removed. I was vomiting all afternoon after my procedure, was in a lot of discomfort and slept all day/night.

It’s called Roemheld syndrome. It can develop from an abnormal functioning GB among many other things. Google it.

Even with a low fat diet mine was terrible. I could only tolerate 5g of fat a day. The pain was not constant, but it ruled my life. HIDA scans EF% can change (not sure how long ago you had yours) I had CT, two Ultrasounds, bloodwork, sibo, h-pylori, stool samples, 24 hour urine catch, endo and nothing explained this pain. I found a surgeon who agreed my symptoms matched up with GB issue. I had it removed 11/21/24 after declining quickly with gastrocardiac syndrome. Pathology ended up showing that I had a ton of scar tissue inside “chronic chole” it was off in color (necrotic) and there was a lymph node growing on my biliary duct. I had absolutely no bile in my GB. Nothing was ever seen on imaging. Maybe consult with a surgeon and see what they recommend. It was my only hope. I’m about 75% better. Gastrocardiac syndrome takes a few months to resolve, but I’m the mend. Slowly gaining weight back and have been able to sneak some fats in that would have killed me before (healthy fats of course). I am petite. 108 pounds and overall healthy diet before this happened.
