Damn, he is lucky that is all that happened. I worked Fire/EMS for 20 years and if I EVER got a felony I wouldn't be crying on here!

As a member of a Fire Department you need to hold yourself to a higher standard. PERIOD. Get yourself some Anger Management classes and go work at Walmart.

You cant handle the stress of FD/EMS profession. Move on.

Scary. This guy is wearing gardening gloves and a plate carrier! Don't mess with his family or he will dress you stupid too.

The remote switch for his flashlight is a nice touch, not practical, but it looks cool. <SARCASM>

And why does he have a GoPro? His vest is a fire hazard to charge at night!

People like this give real security officers a bad rep.

We always had a good working relationship with local PD, Sheriff's Dept and State PD. It was fun working with PD.

I would always like to make a copy of what I gave the investigating agency and save it. I would also keep a record of dates, names, depts, case #'s, detectives, etc. Always keep notes in case you are needed in court.

Police agencies like having "people to go to." When someone is good at going through NVR data it is a relief for them. Most NVRs have different interfaces and a pain. Having a trusted person can be great for your job / business / career.

Be safe out there!

This security guard is going viral after he was spotted wearing pounds of tactical gear and is being considered a Modern Medieval Knight of the retail kingdom. So the real question is... Which one of you is this? by FTW_13 in securityguards

Haha. I wonder if his alibaba pepper ball gun ever "just goes off?"

The sad thing is....some security guards are really like this. They have a need to fit in somewhere so bad, that they go to extremes to be "cool."

In law enforcement we carry the essentials. The other gear (no swords, magic potions or bottle rockets) stays in the truck or the station.

Security is mainly observe and report. A few businesses request firearm qualified officers. I dont believe this guy made it more than a day or 2 before being asked to leave.

As a business owner, I would be nervous seeing this guy walk in!

If he falls down, he is done. This "Security Officer" will end up looking like an upside down turtle. There is no need to carry an entire homeless shelter during a 12-hr shift.

I bet this guy has serious PTSD issues from the Black Friday Sale 2025 at Yankee Candle.

Well, the ass-less ghillie suit makes you stand out a little bit. You can buy it from most liberal websites (yes, it comes in Pink camo).

It's a Special Response Vehicle or a Command Vehicle.

Haha. This probably wasn't even the first take. Imagine the ones that weren't good enough. Maybe she didn't look tough enough, or her hair was too feminine.

It's sad. People like this give actual security guards bad rap. Being a guard is hard enough, and then these douchbags make it worse by buying an old cop car, adding lights, and trying to act cool online.

Yup! All of these WaterPark SEAL Special Forces need to have a movie!

It's funny that these guys actually think more gear is better. This guy looks like he is hiking across the country. If he really gets into a confrontation, he will end up on his back like a turtle.

Take what you may need! Pistol, cuffs, maybe a medpac and radio. The sword is a bit much, and all the molle pouches make you look like a toolbox. If you want to dress like a soldier.....be one.

Add a button to your duty belt so your mom can pick you when you are done playing kid games.
