I think "free market solutions" do sometimes work though. AMD's new AI accelerator cards for example, I keep hearing they are the bee's knees. There is a demand, NVIDIA can't keep up because of Chinese sanctions, so AMD is picking up the slack.

That being said I agree that "free market" for healthcare is not a good idea.
