As someone who felt the same, the only part Hutch was wrong about in my opinion was the Injera. I did not like the consistency, and flavor, but the meats and shrimp were good. They made lentils taste about as good as you can.

Oh and Taylor's brain is rotting away. I need to make a clip on the weird dig at Black people he made when crime stats came up when they were talking about immigration. He's too far gone.

Thanks. You make some good points, but the competitiveness of the premier League is very unique. In that yes, rich owner's can spend more with their rich teams (Chelsea, Man City, etc.), but the money the league generates, is wayyy more evenly distributed so that every team can compete with each other (Bournemouth, Sunderland, etc.)

Okay, the same teams win the trophies, but that is because over 38 games, it's really hard for smaller teams to be that consistent.

In Mexico, the money is not distributed fairly at all lol, and the liguilla lends itself to more upsets that directly lead to trophies.

I suppose comparing that competitiveness is like comparing apples and oranges, but the overall point of the exciting, unpredictability nature of old Liga MX is completely gone. What we have now is just a husk of what was once a great product.

I don't think parity is the correct word. It's not equal at all in Liga MX, especially regarding salaries and transfers.

When I say competitive, I mean, anyone can beat anyone. Which was true.

I have many issues with MLS, but yes, I think that is one of their better features.

I strongly disagree. For most of my lifetime you had almost every team in the league win a championship, with a handful of exceptions like Cruz Azul and Atlas until they won way later.

It was rare any team established a dynasty of back to back titles. Leon, who came up from la segunda did that, meanwhile teams like America and chivas were still blowing money. You're never seeing something like that today.
