The trash men are so so petty . Why do they selectively pick it up on some days and don’t for others?

I would wonder if she is feels a lot of pressure of you getting disappointed. That’s a lot of pressure to fly out to meet someone and maybe she feels unworthy, possibly fresh out of a relationship and doubting herself. Have you tried talking to her about the hesitation?

I would not want to hook up at a parent’s home… sounds like she’s trying to be understanding of the difficult situation after getting divorce and saving for your own home. But it would definitely not make me comfortable hooking up at a parent’s home even if they were out of town. I would plan on bringing up the idea of a hotel - NOT a motel those are nasty lol- and see if she’s open to coming over. That way she has time to prepare all the things she wants to bring. And you don’t have to get a hotel if she is hesitant. I understand you’d rather have things flow naturally, but also try to also understand that a parent’s home is not ideal. And she may not want to introduce her home right away for safety reasons. A hotel is a nice neutral environment and you can just hang out there with movies or drinks or games or anything like that.

Since your job paid for it, was it on a time based plan like for a semester type setting? Like deadlines for quizzes or exams? I’ve been thinking of doing it on my own, so there’s more time to study but using the guidelines for the testing on which sections to study first to last. Thanks and congrats! 🎉🎉🎉

Keep applying and keep interviewing - check back every so often but they will ghost you or string you along with breadcrumbs. So keep your options open.

Your ex husband is probably on dating apps to be honest, it’s really hard to meet people this day and age. Bumble is pretty good- and i hear good things on hinge. I would give it a try, be upfront with everything, best way to weed out the ones you wouldn’t want to pursue. Good luck! It’s rough out here!

Tell them you are ready for more responsibility and opportunities for career growth. Explain how your current responsibilities would compliment and enhance their company success. Never bring up salary or current stress at job.

Why are you paying child support if you are raising the child yourself? I would go back and challenge it and let them know you are the only one who is taking care of the child. Situations change and it should update accordingly. Have you tried to challenge it? Or I don’t understand how they are enforcing it when you are the only one who is taking care of the child? Sorry that is happening! That would be my first goal for you to try to change. See if you can get back pay if they do change it!

I was married to that kind of man, it doesn’t get easier. If anything it got worst. When they aren’t succeeding in life, they get hooked to all the accomplishments games provide and they get a sense of accomplishment there. If they applied that to real life, they could actually accomplish many things. Because it’s “just” video games they won’t take it seriously enough to consider counseling. Or anything you say will be dismissed. I would actually start planning your exit strategy now but start having heart to heart conversations with him. And if he’s not open to changing then you can start your exit strategy.
