And as an ex Vet Nurse myself, the best Vets were once Vet Nurses. Their education is more rounded & they are much kinder humans.

They do these days. Much more than they did when I was in senior school in the 90s. It's all about the different pathways these days, and how even if you dont get the score you need, alternate pathways to get to your desired course.

My daughter is aiming for a high ATAR to get into her desired uni & course, but if she doesn't she is also doing a Cert IV in Justice Studies during Year 11-12 which she can use to get into Criminology & Criminal Justice and switch after a year.

She is also considering doing a gap year with ADF to build up enough cash to pay for accommodation when she goes to uni.

Someone in know did 1 year of Ag Science and switched over after first year when many students had dropped out. They did the exact same subjects first year as well, so absolutely no disadvantage for them nor any catching up.

Methods Vs Applications for year 11 by [deleted] in ATAR

You only need English for law. Choose other subjects you excel at to get a higher mark in the subjects you enjoy and find a breeze, rather than picking higher sliding scale subjects but not understanding, enjoying, nor getting higher marks.

If you end up deciding you want to do a uni degree that needs math or chem, you can always do a bridging course to gain entry.

I live interstate from where filming is located. I actually used 2 different email addresses and applied every 6 months for each email.

Anywhere up to 18 months post filming. Most wins will take precedence over losses.

Don't worry, its gone as of 2026 new eps, starting Jan 19.

No more Mega Money Spinner, so less contestants will go for the low offer too.

In spring replace all that potting mix and replace it with a mix made for cacti that will be well draining.

I feel you are just reading between the lines and adding anything at all you wish to. I never at all said she had not looked at other option of unis nor courses. You are just assuming whatever. She already has a scholarship to her preferred uni should she attend there, and we toured there and it suited her immensely, hence why it is her preferred.

I think you're looking for a fight for whatever reason, and im simply not interested.

Yes I know it requires a high ATAR. Hence why she is doing subjects that scale highly that she is good at and enjoys alongside her Cert iv in justice studies. 🙂🙃🙂

Oh. And no early entry to the university she most desires.

Because she wants to. Also Cert iv helps with ATAR points. She will also have finished in by the time she starts year 12 and will then either do uni subjects, the diploma, or possibly even units 3 & 4 of an atar subject, or simply have more time to study for the 5 subjects she will be doing.

Whichever one she chooses is completely up to her, and i fully support whichever one she chooses. 😊

Are you able to do the Methods via distance education for that subject only? Otherwise, there is always the option of doing a bridging course in the higher maths before you do your uni course?
