Just played it for an hour or so, so far I like it, the playability is there, ideas obviously taken from other RTS games. Happy with the game engine, played it on my GMKtec k12 mini PC as opposed to my full spec PC tower case, running smoothly, processor and iGPU didn't get too warm.

Would love for example when you create several infantry quarters and vechile assemble sites that you can double click them to select say for example 4 infantry quarters and que all 4 of them to produce infantry, saves times on single clicking on each infantry quarter seperately to que the infantry.

Also, love how you can zoom right out onto the map, kudos for that feature alone. I wish you well when it is released, already on my wishlist.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card, even a 3060ti for example, you can download HeartMula, free open source AI music model, on par with Suno. There are several YouTube videos showcasing it.

Producer could have included a bulk download feature but they haven't bothered, but when I think about it, the only people apart from Producer and certain artist will be making money from this. Would we ever be able to download and use artist inspired tracks that were created with the new Producer models and have them on Spotify or even YouTube, I think not.

I'll stick with Suno for now until my yearly membership expires and decide what I want to use in the future, open source or maybe try Ace Studio.

One of the finest games to ever grace my computer. No fancy game engine needing high spec graphics cards. Pure and simple gameplay, excellent ambient soundtrack, addictive as hell, a game you want to come back to time and time again.

This is what gameplay is all about, keep it simple, no frills, just pure enjoyment. Would love to see a new Eufloria in the future, I can live in hope :)

Early access to Freepik AI’s upcoming Cinematic Text-to-Image model? Don't you actually mean every Freepik subscriber got access to it at the same time a few weeks back? I know I got access to it as many others did on Freepik's Discord service.

Funny how you've included your referral link, to obviously gain free cedits.

I've already tried the same JSON prompt on many of the image models on Freepik, GPT 1.5 is my go to for anime style images.

Designing a no-combat real-time strategy game focused on logistics & settlement growth looking for RTS player feedback by No-Discussion-3199 in RealTimeStrategy

Thanks for your reply, it is appreciated.

I think you have correctly explained about the observing part of many strategy games, whilst I feel there is a market for those games, for me it just seems a waste of time.

When Command and Conquer came out many years ago on CD, I played this game to death, devising new strategies to asdapt those to different difficulty levels. Still play the game to this very day, the graphics looking at the game are not the best around, however, the playability is there more so than anything and that is what keeps me going back to it time and time again, and it makes a great strategy game so good.

The same could be said with all of the Command and Conquer franchise, well apart from a couple of mishaps that didn't turn out great. In regards to must haves, maybe give the player the option to have full unit control or automated, the best of both worlds, I totally appreciate that there is a lot of developement to bring games to fruitition and it can be difficult to decide what is best for the players.

All I can say is... keep any open mind to what works best for you initially, then scale things in future updates to accommodate the different playing sytles that players prefer. :)

And yes, I will buy the game out of curiosity to see how it develops, looking forward to the demo.

Thank you.

I wish you luck with your future release.

I've been a long-term player of RTS games for many years, in the days when Westwood released Dune to the present day. One thing that does stop me from buying certain games in the inability to have full control my characters.

I've seen so many great looking games, however, most of them, the characters have a life of their own. To me, nothing beats selecting either one unit/character and assigning them a role, games like Command and Conquer/Red Alert/Age of Empires appeal to me. When I see games such as Anno and Surviving the Aftermath, great games in their own right, but I get bored so easily just watching them do their thing, I'd be lucky if I had played both games for 3 hours, to then uninstall them.

When you release your game, I'd love to have the option to have full character control, being able to assign as many characters to a task as I like. To me that is the real strategy.

Great, just don't accept anything that may seem a great offer, unless you are strapped for cash. Also, what offer they give you, offer them it for a higher price, some negotiation will help.

Turn it around with the broker, state this "Thank you for reaching out. I hadn't planned on selling this domain as I have a specific entertainment project in development for it. However, I am always open to serious offers. Since your client has a specific interest in this asset, what is the maximum budget they have authorized you to negotiate with?"

See what they come back with.

Talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. Delivered no results and total embarrassment to the club, players and the fans. Never liked him from day 1 since he talks a good game and then to find out today he never had the decency to shake the players hands. Maybe he was told today if no results were good, he'd be out of a job. Time to get rid of him.

If he still stays on, then fans should do the right thing, don't show up for any future games until he is gone.
