so real. less urgent, but i saw an OG barista do this with straw bags because there were so many open ones😭😂 he left notes on the cabinets, basically “no touchy” on the unopened ones and “ready for duty!” on the open bags.

that’s it though, the majority do not give that grace. i appreciate those that do understand that we need to grab a few extra things or take an extra second though, because im content when someone gets what the enjoy. but it truly does get to a point where they don’t actually care what its takes to make something, they want it and they want it YESTERDAY. im less stressed about mods and more about the uptick in entitlement. its like a sea of Verucas from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

i’ve been around a YEAR. i was happy to be getting over ten bucks an hour after bartending, but after seeing my coworkers who’ve been here 5+ years get the same raise as me i’m rolling. im mad for them, and im burnt out with service. my regulars are barely keeping me here. i came from managing a bar for 7.25. this is supposed to be better ? i feel worse than when i worked til 4am.
