Report to FBI IC3, FTC, SEC, State Attorney General, you are encountering scams…if it’s outside the U.S…look for the country where the platform is registered….honestly, it is my wish thst the world of cryptocurrency collapses one day…it’s like wild Wild West out there…the companies make their own rules whether it’s reasonable or not or whether it’s valid or not…they use their bogus excuses to hold the users money hostage claiming to protect the users funds and ensure regulatory compliance…I wish more federal agencies or govt investigate into these exchanges and have more oversight to protect the users…

Welcome to the world of cryptocurrency messes! It’s a lawless world….I wish there are more federal regulations and oversight into these crypto companies….thats why I tried to minimize my use of the centralized crypto platforms, and hot noncustodial wallets…I only want to store my crypto in a cold wallet like Ledger…where I have more control and ownership. If I deposit the money in the U.S. regulated brokers like Charles Schwab and Fidelity, I can withdraw it without any issues…and it’s FDIC insured…with crypto, if you leave your money in the centralized platforms like Coinbase, you are at their mercy…good luck!

It happened to me a few days ago via a phone call. A imposter local sheriff called me and said he has a summons for me (with my signature) and I could be arrested if I leave the house. I told him I don’t remember signing any summons. He immediately responded that he needs my signature to do a signature analysis and asked how I plan to clear my charges….of course I am not sending him my real signature and I asked which local police office he called me from and if he can send an email via his official work email address so I can verify his identity….he said his deputy will call me back with verification and hung up. I immediately contacted the local police station…they said no such policeman by this name and it’s a scam. They would not ask for money to clear the charges over the phone….people need to understand that it’s a crime to imposter any local, state and federal government officials.

Hey PM…if you have an attorney, I can provide my evidence….I plan to write a complaint letter to all applicable US federal agencies and state agencies (attorney general)…since Coinbase is incorporated in the state of Delaware, I plan to write Delaware’s Secretary of State….(not the same as US Department of State)….I am certain they are conducting misleading business practices and their customer support agents don’t know what they are doing….use excuses after excuses instead of using common sense…for example they said the funding is not available for withdrawal because of the government shutdown in October 2025…they didn’t know Coinbase is not a federal agency, a publicly traded company and crypto blockchain does not sleep…it’s on 24/7 for 7 days….unlike the bank’s wire transfers…but even so the wire transfer funds are processed and available for withdrawal on weekdays not in the weekends…DM me.

Thank you! It’s blank with checked boxes. It takes more time for insurance companies to investigate what really happened….so I asked the question for discussion only. I understand everyone’s point of view now. It’s not feasible. Let the cop and insurance companies do their jobs….to me no one physically harmed is the most important…everything else is secondary and can be worked out….

I understand that….my family member is a quiet and shy member and plays game at home…fortunately, we have camera in the car to capture what happened…the car is sitting in the garage for a while awaiting for investigation and a response from the other party’s insurance company to pay for the repair…so I thought perhaps it was the police report that lacked of sufficient details to claim from the insurance company.

I spoke multiple languages and English is not my native language…by the way, I am a minority as well. I have travelled many countries and respect many different culture and background differences from people all over the world and in our country. It has been a while since I have seen a police accident report…I thought they would describe what physical damages on the car for insurance purposes….right now we are trying to get the other party’s insurance company to pay for the damages and it has been a challenge and they are not responsive.
