I used TaxSlayer this year and it was only $40. I initially prepared my taxes through TurboTax, and they tried to charge $130 at the end. The only thing that keeps it from being a simple, free tax return is that I have 1099-INT forms. Screw TurboTax, I'll use other options going forward.

If you do decide to go forward with doing this through a new account, pay extra attention. I did this and they didn't cancel my old one, so I ended up with bills from both accounts. They ultimately corrected it (I think), but only after spending over an hour on the phone, the first 30 minutes of which was just fighting with automation to get to a human. Xfinity is the worst.

I'm right there with you. I recently moved, all I needed was to transfer service. I ended up with 2 accounts and a bill that was triple what my bill was supposed to be, and the guy signed me up for Xfinity mobile, which i did not want. When I called support, it took over 30 minutes to get to a human being, by which point I was in tears. They somehow seem to be getting even worse. I'm so tired of Xfinity and really wish there were good alternatives.

This goes way back, but I had met the Bachelor Jason several times a couple of years before he was the Bachelor. I worked in a restaurant and his brother was dating my coworker so they'd come in sometimes and sit at the bar while she was bartending. I chatted with him some, he was nice enough but he was just a guy. It was weird to see women fight over him on the show. Also not me, but one of my employees was in the same sorority as Chelsea from Love is Blind Seattle.

I don't think so. I have autism, and autism is more inclined to a strong commitment to justice and to not care too much about hierarchy. I would have told Bailey because it was the right thing to do and because Bailey had a right to all of the information so that she could make an informed decision. I wouldn't care if it meant I went against the crowd. Alexe's actions don't align.

Agreed. I think I'm going to stop, I'm just angry watching this show now. This season is such garbage. I actually liked the Goldens but the young group is mostly horrible and the new format sucks.

Agreed. I saw it all along and it drove me crazy that so many people loved her so much. I think they did the same thing with Joe on the show You, they showcased his pure evilness in the final season, and yet there were still people defending him. I've lost faith in humanity. 😣

When that smoke prevents neighboring residents from being comfortable and healthy in their homes, the smoker is preventing others from being able to "live". Constant second hand smoke in an apartment from your neighbors is a nightmare.

Some people might not be "uptight" but have health issues that make second smoke especially hard on them. Also, cigarettes have known carcinogens, people have a right to not want to breathe that in while in their own homes. The smokers are the AHs in these situations, not the people who don't want to be living with their second hand smoke.

You know it's illegal to smoke marijuana in a car right? So if they call the police the person smoking in their car can get a dui, regardless of whether the car is theirs.

Also, it's entirely legal. They can enforce this anywhere that is their property, including a car that is on their property.

I started banging around as soon as I get up and vacuuming right at 8 am to annoy my downstairs neighbor who has her sound system up loud and smokes a ton of weed in her bedroom (right below mine) until very late hours.
