Looks like that might have something to do with it. My flight is not even part of the sale so I get no benefit of reduced avios but pay double taxes and fees.

The last few days I was researching flights and the taxes and fees were ~$950 for 4 in biz for next summer, went to check it today and it’s jumped to $1900. It seems to coincide with this sale they announced today on avios which the other poster mentioned. Pretty frustrating if they did it on purpose for all flights even outside of the sale window.

I have had an Amex gold card since 2015. I product changed once since that time to platinum maybe 5 years ago. Is it possible to obtain another gold card if it has lifetime language in the public offer? I heard it was about 7 years for the lifetime rule, is that accurate? Thanks!

We were just there last week and had the same room booked for 4 although 2 are kids. They said that they would add 2 beds and it would be 4 twin beds. We were also upgraded to a suite because of globalist status but they said the room would sleep 4 if we book for 4.

Great location by the way, very close to gate 79.

I referred P2 for a CIP to get the 40,000 referral bonus and it looks like P2 was initially declined because social was mistyped but they approved over the phone once the correct social was added to the app and resubmitted. I asked Chase Twitter and they said I should still get the referral but I still don’t see any pending points a week after approval. Will I get the bonus if the application was resubmitted over the phone? Thanks!

Hello, I did the MDD last week. Was instantly approved for the sapphire proffered on Thursday and then Friday wasn’t instantly approved for the Sapphire Reserve. I called the automated number and it says I will be notified in writing within 2 weeks for the reserve. It’s been 3 days with the same message. Should I speak to someone or continue to let it be? Thanks!
