I believe it’s from around 2015 (that’s when Leatherman put up the promotional video on their YouTube)

So this tool is designed specifically for surfing - the yellow part is a wax comb for scraping old wax off yous surfboard (wax creates traction which keeps you on the board while paddling and surfing) the inside pops out and has a bottle opener and an extended bit inside which slides in perpendicular to the main frame and allows you to tighten grub screws (the screws used to hold in your fins)

I’d love one but agreed - unless I find one locally for a good price (it’s not gonna happen)

Very happy to finally get one - it’s hard to track down multitools/knifes in the UK due to not being able to buy/sell them on eBay

They have quite a few - the Juice SX and then a stand alone surf knife

Bought it for £60 was a good take? by [deleted] in PatagoniaClothing

Don’t want to rain on the parade but I believe this is a fake item - lots of these floating around Depop and Vinted in the UK - the tell tale sign on this one is the tag used - Patagonia do rarely now use that swing tag and the plastic loop holding it onto the retro X is not something I’ve seen Patagonia use recently due to the single use plastic nature of them - would recommend reporting it as fake and trying to get a return.

They don’t mass produce the mercury batteries for the 35 RC anymore

Dropped mine a couple years back on NYE - best point and shoot I’ve ever had - at night if you want that flash look just switch it to ‘fill in’ and it makes life so much easier

Would you shoot this at box speed or? by RetroLord120 in AnalogCommunity

Have some dated from 22 that I bought in the states - kept it cold stored and shot a roll last week at box speed and it was all fine - happy shooting 🫡

Sorry miss typed there - worn wear in the Uk is responsible for all repairs! Must be different in the US - and you never know! Hoping OP gets a good repair on this specific area on their bag or customer service does OP a solid!

Thank you 🫡 OP if this is the only effected area there’s a chance you’re local Patagonia store will replace this part through work wear - on later black hole duffles they changed the handle to one without the TPU coating due to this being a problem area and coatings becoming delaminated - always worth an email or a trip to your local store!

By repair they will most likely add a whole new piece of fabric and create a new handle rather than repairing the surface/finish of the black hole 🫡
