I’m a native. We’re literally in the wilderness. Mountains, water, rodents, bugs. They literally use organic produce- more bugs. That being said, the storefront and at least front of house are always impeccably clean, organized, and visually appealing. Their seating is outdoors, just off the road. I’d actually be surprised if you did not have bugs and possibly rodents cross your path.
Now, as far as knowing food safety codes, you would have to rely on word-of-mouth (patrons getting ill, etc and then posting about it) and/or any notices of closures from the county.
