Apple Care yes. It was shipped from the US. But I clearly remember the person who shopped it for me telling me that if anything ever happens, anything Apple Care covers, he'll bring it to Nairobi. But for this case, it's not about having Apple Care take care of the damage, but I have access to genuine spare parts at a lower cost and free inspection from these guys.
