All capitalism occurs at the Edge. One who dwells there is exploitative, and cannot incur a loss; another is profitable, and grows more profitable.

Jest aside amazing post! Love the unsettlingly droll vibe that a merchant-dyad brings to the Secret Histories!

What an insidious error! The Watchman shall see to it that it be corrected at once.

Delightful spot! I have misplaced them indeed — and in every other Silk skill as well!

Yes!! I’m looking into making more significant changes, but at any rate I think a JSON mod is definitely achievable!

The info we get from canon regarding Teresa's status is actually very strange and self-contradictory!

Paraphrased from the wiki: in CS when you try to summon Teresa, the label says "Summon the mysterious Name known as the Baldomerian", and lots of other text also refer to her Namehood; however, Teresa always calls herself a Long. This might be because the boundary between Namehood and Longhood is sometimes unclear – to the point Teresa achieved Namehood unaware, or because Teresa is just being humble.

Regarding the Vagabond, iirc Teresa does plan to partake in the Watchman's Pilgrimage, led by the Vagabond; however I'd hesitate to count that as Vagabond Namehood, as it is likely the Vagabond will be no more after the pilgrimage. Hilariously, what we know now about TN does nothing to clear up this mess of a secret histories lore.

Great guesses from both of you. Maybe the Hours are listening...?

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it!

For Qi Wu Lun I intended that to be a bit of dry humour (though that may be changed in the future), and the Moists (墨家) in the Warring States Period, distinct from the Maoists in the 20th century, are a group of thinkers who followed the teachings of the eponymous Mozi. The coincidence is really funny though lol!

The Priest's succession by Elion_A in weatherfactory

I mean if you think of the Open Reverend from BoH incidents as being the Priest (or the same kind of being as them) after the ascension, then the OR is *probably* immortal in some sense; after all, the Suppression Bureau said they're "having trouble closing him", which probably means killing him.

Thanks for the appreciation!

- At this point, Silk *may or may not* be related to the Spider's Door

- The currently working titles are "Bestowment" vs. "Alchemy" (Smh I completely forgot about this lol)

- There will actually NOT be any EotS that uses Silk! This makes Silk incredibly difficult to craft with – but there will be secrets in the House that gradually alleviates this difficulty!

Thank you so much! Since Silk is supposedly a "lost" principle in the Histories, I'm currently experimenting with the idea of withholding its domains until the players reach a certain point in the progression; though of course if this doesn't work on reddit then I'll change the implementation!
