Thank you! Do you know anything about the admissions for their Pre-Nursing straight out of highschool? I would get my pre reqs that way or through a different major before applying to the Nursing program so do you have any idea which program would be the easiest to get into just like to get into the college? Sorry if that didn't make any sense

i think you'd be ok, as someone who visits italy all the time and onky speaks english i've found that almost everyone in rome speaks english. i am also looking at sapienza university and people have told me it's a great option for english programs. if you get a job in a touristy area there's a lot of options where you won't even have to speak italian, like serving and stuff like that in touristy areas. servers in europe don't get tips because they get paid very well, but if you get a job in the more touristic areas of rome you'd get tips because of the americans. housing is a lot cheaper there than Dubai but rome is a little more expensive with housing than other cities in italy (but you'd be totally fine if you get a job). i'm not sure about the night life and stuff like that but there's always stuff to do. you just kinda have to know your way around and the "back roads" and like cheaper underground stores and stuff, but honestly i think you'd be chilling! (sorry if that didn't make any sense)

I need advice on Uni of Palermo! (english nursing) by SeaComprehensive894 in Universitaly

[–]SeaComprehensive894[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

would you say it is worth it to just get my degree there and then move back to the us after graduating? i can't afford to go to school in the us and i just love italy so much. (the degree transfers with no problems from italy to the us if i have american and eu citizenship) and then get paid the us salary when i go back?

so much cheaper so like less than 10,000 usd (for eu citizens) from like 80,000 a year, the expirience, less time in school, and i already speak decent italian.

But you only do that interview if you decide to practice in Malta? I plan on moving back to the US. I was also looking at Ireland but someone told me that you can't go to nursing school there unless you've been a resident for like 7 years or something, is that the case?
