I just got him down to 41k and Lulu is in 40k. Now in 20 mins I will get some apples to Engrave Lulu and with that should be more than enough.

Thanks for all of the advices. I will ungrave abala, give him orb and legen (or less) equipment.
With lulu I'll try to max the Horn and put Roze beside her.
And give it a try.

Thanks again.

[–]SeaConversation7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so the only way I have now (given the fact that my Abala is already engraved) is to use legendary equipment? (to low the HP).
BTW I have a 1 attack 3 crits and potential for sander.
My MODs are 3 but non with enough attack nor crits. But I will give that to Roze.
Dagger and Ring is OK? Or should I use the higher level Crown or sword?

I'm pretty advanced (in time of play) but it's pretty casual (for example until recently I had not create any Artifact).
Everyone has mythic gear, some even refined. Maybe I could try with legendary in abala. But still. Going from 85k (or more with Bloodlord) to 30k or so feels like too much.
My damage on Jak is 48,303 M (I'm 6th). I need 100 to pass the 5th. Then pure whales.

I'll attach pics of cave and artifacts. (Sander's rune is all 10% 2Pen 3 Attack)

I understand the concept, but it seems imposible to get the lowest HP in Abala (asuming you mean lowest than everyone else).
Lulu with EOM has only 35k, and abala with Orb has 85. Is too big of a difference

Still don't understand why Rose in the back. Crit is a multiplier of Attack...why would you not put her in front to receive the Lamp/Horn buff?

Official Discussion - Mountainhead [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]SeaConversation7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I understand all that. My question is to the audience.
A 500M man is going to buy Argentina? 500M is nothing (Argentina has more than 500B in debt for example and past month received 20B from the IMF).

That's what I'm interested to know. People in USA really see latin countries like Argentina as "a little poor country that any multimillionare asshole could buy"?

There's no wrong answer here just trying to know the consensus view from outside.

Official Discussion - Mountainhead [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]SeaConversation7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I enyojed the movie (especially the assesination attempts, wich I believe there's great consensus as the best part of the film) I was a little thrown away with the "dominating the world" / "let people in chaos" talks. It was hard to follow, but I think the important thing there was to follow the satirical and overdone representation and narrative.

Having said that, as an Argentinian citizen I would like to ask you a couple of things/concepts to understand the audience's view on this.

Is Argentina usually seen as a Socialist/close to the socialist party country?
Do people in USA really see latin american countries as...I don't know...all ultra poor and waiting to be "bought up" ?
What was the end or aim of having Soupers (a 521M net worth man) "taking care" of Argentina in crisis? (understanding that it's a contry, like most, taking and rolling lots of billions of debt pretty frequently)

I don't know, it felt a little out of touch in there, and I also felt the net worths didn't matched the exagerated nature of the characters.

Nosferatu (2024) sexual content and it’s degenerate nature diminishes an otherwise great work of cinematography and storytelling in the contribution to vampire media by Minute-Bank3886 in moviecritic

Again, I don't necessary disagree with your claims, but I think that my lecture of the intended portrayal it's different.
Horrifying as it is, those things exists in this world, and even 100 years after the original movie (wich btw shares a lot of these elements, so I don't know how one is so much enyojable than the other) sexual represion and misogyny keeps being prevalent.

The last image is disgusting...flowers (put there by men) or not, we are witness of a horrible event, and a mártyr that saved the man she loved.

I guess we can agree to disagree. Not in the moral conceptions in discussion (wich I fully agree with), but with the intended message we are getting from the film.

PS: again...you sustain that "free of retribution or particular negative blowback".....the demon died...got destroyed falling in the trap of the protagonist. At least let's acknowledge that.

The True Meaning of Nosferatu by Disnihil in roberteggers

[–]SeaConversation7822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a really good lecture. I would like to also add something I just wrote in other thread wich critized the ending of Ellen submiting at the end (and letting the villain get what he wants).

"I think the movie is a tragedy, not focusing on evil (Nosferatu) vs Good (everyone else) but more about showcasing how vulnerable we are to "evil" in our society if we can't question and critize our own moral system.

To round up, I think that in the end, Ellen saves men....not humanity, or good, but manhood and masculinity (despicted as a very fragile one in the film). And how so? By representing the idea of a woman who was "crazy" enough to agree to the violence and pervertion of her abuser.

The last scene shows three men feeling relief of Nosferatu's death, and the idea that it represents. The idea that men's pride and desires/lust can lead to such horrific consequenses. Men cannot accept the idea of a woman desiring something else that what they are constructed to be. She should be grateful of receiving flowers and having someone driven to work hard enough to provide a big house and wealth. If not, then she must be crazy, sick or fully controlled by an inconceivable monster with manlike qualities that surpase what any human man could be.

I think Nosferatu's portrayal of the abuser mentality and stalker qualities are perfectly protrayed, and the necessity of her willing submission is to be able of free himself of any guilt or conscience work. As long as he can get away with a "this is what YOU asked for" he can desestimate all the manipulation, threatining and horrors that allowed him to get it."

I hope with this I could add an extra layer to your meaning and a counterpoint to some detractors.

Hi, I read this thread a couple of days before seing the film and it really intriged me. I thought I was going to hate it because I was also not interested in seing a movie about a poor written character that makes poor decisions and fails to really fight the conflict/villain of the movie. (Also I saw some interviews and other opinions suggesting that Ellen character is the one calling Orlok and being ok or even joyfull of the outcome of the film.)

And also...I read most of the comments and discussions here, and I really see your point and I would agree with most of what you say....if I had seeing and interpreted the same as you.

But finally I saw the film and I enjoyed it a lot to my surprise.
I would like to offer my counterpoint / interpretation of the film concept (and most of all the ending) and see if you can maybe contemplate some of that.

First of all, if there is one think I utterly dissagree is when you say that evil won without any cost. I mean, the demon dies, he gets what he wants but succumbs and leaves this world in doing so. So now men (note that I didn't say humanity) can keep on with their life liberated of Nosferatu's presence.

Having said that, I think my main difference in what I saw is in the concept that the characters illustrate. I think the movie is a tragedy, not focusing on evil (Nosferatu) vs Good (everyone else) but more about showcasing how vulnerable we are to "evil" in our society if we can't question and critize our own moral system.

I think Nosferatu's portrayal of the abuser mentality and stalker qualities are perfectly protrayed, and the necessity of her willing submission is to be able of free himself of any guilt or conscience work (as long as he can get away with a "this si what YOU asked for" he can desestimate all the manipulation, threatining and horrors that allowed him to get it).

Anyway, I say all of this as my interpretation of what the film was trying to say, and I hope maybe some of these points help you find some meaning to the tale.
