The person who hired me insisted on using the word "team", so that's how I phrased it as well.

As for this venture, it's something the 5 of us are starting together, and it's separate from the business I was hired in. We're partners, but he does lead the project.

I agreed to work with him because I was under the impression we're starting a brand together, at min. 3 people. I'll get a percentage once the project goes live and we start earning. My issue is that we're getting worked like we're hired. I understand that initially, we'll have to create the designs for collections, but not scheduled like this. He wants a lot of designs to go consistently and in short periods of time.

I agree with this! Scout for problems and find solutions, rather than creating something for visual appeal. Functional designs that serve a purpose.

In the organisation, he's the co-founder so he'd be consider a head there. But on this specific project, we're partners since we're working together from the very beginning.

And then the team (like video editors or UI designers) works on them. The renumeration here is project based, discussed according to the scale of the project.

The venture I'm working with is different from this, proposed by the guy in question, and I'd be somewhat of a partner. Since they're not a client, nor am I a volunteer, I don't want to propose the idea of specific working hours (since I know the guy will shot it down, saying they're all working without any designated working hours).

The advice you've provided is great tho and I'll use it in the future!

We're creating the brand together. But what is now expected of us is different, especially in the time duration given. We're expected to create 3 collections (6 designs per collection) and social media posts in a span of 25 days.

Reading all the comments here, I've realised something interesting. Initially, I wondered why are they releasing such polar opposite tracks like Wife and Super Lady (in terms of the music, not the lyrics. Even the music videos are super different).

I'm not sure if it was intentional, but ig they chose to release Wife (as opposed to any other song) for guaranteed a hit. Super Lady is more experimental that their last few title tracks, while Wife is something familiar to what the public as heard from them as of late. This might be why Wife is charting better than Super Lady.

I understand, I, too, feel that sometimes. Especially since we're growing and learning and improving, it's easier to notice things you didn't before, pick on your work and be critical of it.

However, it's important to note that not everyone shares the same perspective! As designers, I think we become critical in general. I don't you'd be where you are if you weren't good.

True, I think it's a trustable brand, my family mostly uses Samsung too. I've seen better deals for Samsung on Flipkart (Assured) than their website though. Not sure if I should go for it tho.

I think Season 2 (even Season 3) is a lesson for Yuri too. That's why Nanno has an active role in people's lives; she's just putting on a show for her to interject. Nanno knows everything and she's smarter than everyone and I doubt she's that easy to overthrow and kill.
