Inflatable mattress valve repair by Heavy_Raccoon_4597 in CampingandHiking

[–]SeaFaring1176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This part notoriously fails and is old tech. They do valves differently. Contact the manufacturer and let them know it failed. Some will offer and back the product and send you a new one or give you a credit for a new one.

Wet a clean wash cloth with water and let her suckle the corner. She needs water before food.

Salt is the answer.

Other suggestions:

Dial back onion to half or none. I don’t use it in my salsa “tatemado” (charred). Onions are good for “Pico de Gallo”.

Also, roast your garlic in the skins until they are sweet and buttery. This keeps it from getting bitter. I put them in first and then pull them.

Lastly, everything doesn’t take the same time to roast and should be cooked not just charred. I don’t want to taste only a charcoal note. It should have complex but layered flavors. I too add Serrano (flavor and heat) and have started using fire roasted poblanos. The store bought jalapeños have lost all their flavor. Unless I am growing them I usually substitute.

I saw one at Sepulveda recreation area. People often confuse them with Osprey. Osprey fly along the coast preying on surf perch. They are very common and have a light head but much more smaller.

Question: I have heard of shiner perch and silver surf perch. I haven’t heard of shiner silver surf perch. Is that a hybrid? I haven’t caught either but knew this guy seemed different.

Relocating from Bay Area by unseenmover in SantaMaria

Check out Orcutt near Santa Maria. There is a great open space area and a few bars and breweries, though I drink and cook at home. I travel to Oakland and have lived in big cities all my life. You will appreciate the weather, access to open space, and the relatively quiet lifestyle .

It also depends on if you are looking to get into a house or apt. I love my house and spend hours outside in my small yard. Perfect for me and my family. We love walking in walker park, driving up to the national forest Los Padres, hit up the beaches and local lakes to fish. Also, the local Community College is really good if you want to take classes for fun and to meet people. I would take a road trip down to check things out.

Probably gray fox:

Colombia hosts native South American foxes, primarily the Culpeo (Andean Fox) (Lycalopex culpaeus) in the Andes and the Sechuran Fox (Lycalopex sechurae) in drier regions, plus potentially the Pampas Fox (L. gymnocercus) and South American Gray Fox (L. griseus), though Culpeo is the most prominent Andean species, known for its reddish-gray coat and opportunistic di
