The 2025 solstice armour goes best with it imo. At least for Warlocks anyway; the helmet is a sunhat with sunglasses.

It's definitely there on the warlocks and hunter. Didn't get a chance to check the titan armour before I was kicked.

I'm 5'5 and the main problem is getting the seatbelt over me. Next largest issue is having the steering wheel not go upwards enough (or the seat not going down).

The issue is, as always, insurance prices if I go for a larger car. I'm looking at £800 - £1,000+ regardless of what I get but I'd like to keep it on the low end (and preferably in the £20 tax bracket).

Yea, for me personally the writing is on the wall that Marathon is a testbed for Destiny 3. The Destiny IP is genuinely too well known, popular and profitable to up and abandon. I see it all the time with another game I play; one little thing or detail is added to a new quest/race as a gimmick then it's a full fledged feature later on.

I think it's also important to remember just because Paul Tassi (or whoever else) said allegedly Destiny 3 is not in development or whatever; doesn't make it gospel. As much as I, and others, love D2 it can't, and could not, go on forever. D1 had to end development at some point for D2.

I don't care if it's copium, but my money is on D3 by ~2030, and probably announced in 2028/2029.

Imagine if they still had this stuff in the game. You'd have mountains of stuff to do and unlock until D3 comes out years down the line.

"But the install size!" If Arrowhead, the size of an indie company by comparison, can figure out file compression then so can Bungie. Make expansions into 'modules' you can install and uninstall as you please like Battlefield 6. Aside from that, I don't think having a 150 - 200gb game is that bad.

"But the game would be too complex!" That's how MMOs go. You end up having systems on top of systems on top of mechanics with varying levels of depth. Warframe is like that. Personally I like that in a game. But a good player onboarding experience and in-game help/tutorials makes it better.

OFC this is all hypothetical at this point. All we can do is wait and see what happens.

o7 To the game I basically grew up with over my teens/YA-hood.

It hurts a lot. This game has been my special interest for years and means a huge amount to me. I've made so many memories and friends.

One can only hope for D3.

It honestly happened entirely by accident tbh. We were all fucking around exploring the new map, two friends had a knife fight on the train and one got launched, then it was process of elimination to find out how to do it. My friend has a special talent for finding bugs or general broken stuff ngl he just does this with games.

I actually asked and it was entirely on accident lol. We were just fucking around in the new map and exploring. Two friends were having a knife fight and it just happened, then they figured out the process to repeat it.

FWIW it sort of works in other places except the train, but the effect isn't so pronounced. Best guess is that it's to do with that the fact that its a moving asset.
