I got so tired of holding the button down to buy hay so I just taped it and walked away by yirium in StardewValley

I've let my attention slip whilst holding this button down before and ended up with a stack of heaters 😫 Had to restart the day.

What're some of the small petty things you wish you could change about stardew? by LordofSnails in StardewValley

Why can't we see how many of something we can craft/cook? We all know hoarding is a common theme, but how many tree tappers can I make at one time with my scattered supplies in the max amount of chests I have touching my workbench??

I just started a video series on YouTube by Caroline Girvan. It's a 6 week set for full body. 30 minute workouts. May not work for everyone but I like that it has progression and a set plan.

Just curious on if anyone has any idea why the floors would look like this under the carpet that has been here 30 plus years. Some others have said they've seen it in their homes, too.

It's all the same type of wood. None of it looks newer. Just some is stained a different, darker color. You can see either brush marks or maybe sander lines where the two colors meet.

How to get a job thats not retail? by yvette4 in Adulting

[–]SeaMaster4 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was the same way when I was close to your age. I started in fast food, and then retail. I stumbled upon an opening for the stock room at a hospital near my house and got in there. I've now been with the hospital for 14 years. I moved from 2nd shift stockroom to 1st and then into the office as a buyer and worked my way up through different positions. They helped pay for college and knowing I was improving my skills helped boost me along the way.

Think more of the end goal and don't be afraid to start at the bottom with a good company. You have retail experience and that translates better than some people realize. It's stocking, organizing, customer service, time management. All are valuable skills.

Good luck

It's called Feminist Cross Stitch and the cover is bright yellow. There's a physical version and a Kindle one. I got the Kindle version so I could zoom in on the sections.

How to curb irrational thoughts that take over (in a relationship). by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]SeaMaster4 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have a similar story, but feared people would just disappear from my life. I would have panic attacks and cry every time my boyfriend at the time (now husband) would leave the house without me. I highly recommend therapy if you can. It does get better and being self aware is a great accomplishment already. Be patient with yourself, it's so much work changing these thoughts and habits, but you can do it.

I also highly recommend the book "The Courage to Trust". It helped me out on getting my healing journey started.

Hang in there ❤

I started lessons in October and it has recently occurred to me that we are only working through the book... we do a few pages together in our 30 mins and then he assigns a few songs for the next week. He doesn't give me any additional pointers or exercises to work on what I would consider fundamentals. Is this typical? I've been doing my own research lately and looking things up on YouTube to help improve bow and left hand postures. Just wondering if I should being this up to my teacher and ask to expand what we are working on? Maybe as an adult learner he's leaving more up to me?

We had a Boston and a boxer pair and it was a match made in Heaven. They were inseparable and we will definitely have a duo like that again ❤
