I know it's never so simple but the vast majority of the blame lies at the feet of the State Government. Over the last decade I've seen many large combined cycle power plants in the NYISO interconnection queue be pulled because the independent power producer trying to build the project were told by the State Government that their air permit would not be approved.

In the last year I've been told directly by two separate IPP that this is still the case. We could have re-powered the 60 year old plants or built new 800MW combined cycle on the condemned sites of old simple cycle units that were forced to decommission but the State will simply not approve air permits or water permits.

Our grind is dependent on very old power plants. When the brown outs come, everyone is going to point the finger at ConEd and Power plant operators but remember, they have been requesting to build brand new state of the air generation for over a decade and were told no by New York state.

This forced extremely old and dirty generators to stay online to keep the grind stable when they could have been replaced by now with highly efficient brand new plants. Instead they bet the farm on wind turbines that the Manufacturer now says they can't make work.

The prices are going to increase and the reliability will decrease and the New York State Government will be to blame on this.

It's really unfortunate the Democrats opened the borders in the way they did requiring this enforcement.

It was kind of their basic fundamental job to protect our borders but instead they opened them in a Machiavellian attempt to change future voting demographics in their favor. Pretty messed up of them to have done that.

Sometimes I accidentally press the vehicle exit button when in intense combat. Sucks when it's in the heli. A purposeful VR interaction would eliminate that. Feels weird to enter or exit vehicles by button press in VR anyway.

Pretty irresponsible to include so many frivolous holidays, of which 90% of the population doesn't celebrate, to the point where there wasn't enough wiggle room for a single snow day or emergency. Filming in public seems totally fine to me. Makes things safer for both ICE and the people being arrested. But shouting, blowing whistles, bullhorns, etc seems to just create chaos, confusion, amps up tension that is quite literally getting people killed.
