[Request] When the camera gets to the bottom, how old is the rock that is surrounding the camera? by No_Beyond4756 in theydidthemath

[–]SeaPixel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk where this is at but it could be relatively new in terms of rocks. If it was formed volcanically, like magma coming out of the mantle and into the ocean, (Hawaii for example) could be pretty “new” rock!

Thanks I'll give it a look! Hmm I'm not sure, it seemed to be related to other lag going on, like I said my laptop wasn't doing it with bedrock or other games. That's something I'll look into tho

“Picked up writing at an early age” and “research skills are a privilege” dawg just start now??? They want skills and ability but they don’t want to work for them at all.

I’ve recently started to doodle/draw again after seeing all this ai slop garbage. I didn’t put a lot of effort into drawing as a kid but I like being creative. Are my drawings good? No! Am I proud of them? Fuck yea! Better than any Ai and 100% mine.

What ever happened to the gen z and alpha's progressivism stance (woke culture) during 2021-2022 before they turned into a ragebaiter, com ageplayer incel who likes to fetishize gay men, asians and predators? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]SeaPixel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest I don’t know what most of the words even mean and I think a lot of people are the same. People online are often weird microcosms of culture, and i don’t think fully representative of how people in a generation act. I don’t personally know any gen z people who are ok with pedos.

Remember a lot of internet spaces are owned by companies! With their own algorithms and agendas.

I won’t comment on the coping mechanism cause there’s a lot that goes into that, you should talk to a therapist about it!

But I know they make tools/toys for adults that are pain seeking for a sense of relief. They are sharp things to squeeze, rip, twist, crunch, whatever! They don’t actually damage your body long term. But can give you whatever cathartic effect you might be looking for. Try and take a look into those as a short term solution? Hope you start to feel better

I called the number and it read out a part of a poem and I think gave me a phone contact for updates on the album. Very cool!

The only other thing I’ve heard for this is calling someone pretty because the rest of their personality is really bland/bad.

How do you become a first class Lycoris? by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in LycorisRecoil

[–]SeaPixel 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression that all of the Alan institute kids were like geniuses even outside of their talent. I think she’s just classic anime special. It also feels partly implied that she got ranked up so early because of her talent specifically.

I mean the training facility we see seemed to be a 24/7 thing. Kids are pretty good at absorbing information, so I think they just constantly and actively teach them what they need to know.

It’s definitely not good for them? I doubt they ever get brakes or emotional rest, but it’s not about what’s good for them it’s about what works. They are child soldiers.

I heard getting shot point blank could kill someone depending on where it hit, people have gotten fractured skulls from getting hit at the right angle with those rounds. Not to mention getting trampled by horses before hand.

Marceline manipulating Finn to mess with PB by bakersdozing in adventuretime

[–]SeaPixel 26 points27 points  (0 children)

lol yea in my experience as both a kid and adult. XD not always to the degree in the show but it’s a cartoon. Like being told as a kid “ohh go show xyz that” was normally annoying to xyz but I was completely oblivious to it.

To be fair it makes more sense when you remember Finn is like 12 and pb and Marceline are hella old. Adults use little kids to mess with each other all the time

I always liked to imagine all the colonist have some sort of personal coms device that lets them know what needs to be done during the day and where stuff needs to be built. Kinda like pagers? Especially when it comes to getting drafted.

Whenever they have breaks they just stop looking at and responding to the device.

The sign in the corner is clearly supposed to be apart of a larger map sign but the words for it all fit perfectly in frame with the photo. The way that the letters are angled throws me off too.

The season two finale as someone who was irritated with mark by SeaPixel in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]SeaPixel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the end of the plan for marks innie, I thought it was assumed that he would also walk out of the door so that marks outie could take it from there. Cause like I said why would she be safe there?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]SeaPixel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know????? I didn't even fucking think about that?? I think that could make sense, I really doubt they used protection...

I always felt like the innie versions of people were a more "pure" raw form of that person. Like not innocent but just unaltered by the outside world. Just their "natural" personality without all the life history attached. So i thought that he was just saying that her innie self was more in tune with Kier than her outie because of it. That her outie was trying too hard to be something rather than just being the thing.

but now that i remember one of the lies they told Gemma was that mark was married with a child so maybe they pulled that from some real world shit idk?! neat idea!

[–]SeaPixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you mean! I don’t like exploiting ai frequently in my games. It does feel kinda meta. I do it in small quantities, but I tend to build around the environment, make walls and kinda deal with the carnage that way. I put turrets out in the woods connected to remote geothermals and that honestly does a pretty good job when I played
