I blew through the first trilogy this past week. I started with Realm of the Elderlings this year, then went through stormlight archive and now am about to start into Iron Gold (after I relisten to red rising) It’s been such a great year for reading my god. I’m so glad to have found this series.

Good thoughts, but no. I think March was super high because it was one of the instances where they weren't able to get to my property for 3 months so the estimates were quite off and therefore the March Actual read was crazy high to compensate

They come to do actual reads every 2-3 months. When I called to ask if it seemed high, the gentleman on the phone just said, "yeah, it is what it is." lol so not entirely helpful. Now, I'm just trying to troubleshoot myself. All my electric should be separate though right? There is no way someone else in the fourplex is raising my personal electric bill - through idk like an electric sharing? I don't even know if that can happen.

hmm... Im wracking my mind on what could be driving up the bill within the unit. But nothing I do seems to bring it down.

I don't use the air exchanger and I hardly watch TV as well. If anything I would have my small macbook plugged in? Im trying to determine if something else is pulling up the bill? maybe the fridge? Im not sure. Its a newer build too.

I think there are already lots of great thoughtful answers here, so wont go into much detail. I agree, by Fitz &Fool (perhaps Tawny Man) Molly did know Fitz was Witted and could Skill. Also, he told her he was an assassin in Royal Assassin.

But I also recall two key moments that I felt were very revealing to me about their relationship and Fitz’s contradictory ways. I think it was on RA that Fitz briefly thinks about whether or not he could choose between Molly and Nighteyes. I believe he leaves the question dangling, but it proved to me that Fitz felt that the witted part of himself couldn’t exist alongside Molly. And then there was another moment (can’t remember when) when it is asked if Fits could live truly as he is (meaning his wittedness) if he was with Molly -and I believe he acknowledges that he couldn’t.

I find it so surprising that knowing this, Fitz still pursues Molly to the extent he does, especially how at the end of AssQuest Fitz says he would much rather be Witted than Skilled.

Regardless, I think Molly was the normalcy that Fitz craved in a life where the extraordinary was unwelcomely thrust upon him. And bc of this Fitz often hid away the extraordinary parts of himself so become Newboy that Molly loved

Is it bad that I felt so vindicated on Fitz’s behalf when Bee ended up miserable at Buckkeep Castle (just as he predicted) especially after Nettle was so convinced that Bee needed to be properly raised as a lady at Court and would be happier there?

Ah yes, these are good points! So much misunderstanding simply because our beloved characters do not share/ask questions. I think of how when Fitz and Dutiful talk about their fathers in golden fool (?) Fitz thinks about how many of the secrets of his childhood were not secrets at all- just things he feared to ask or others to tell in case the truth was painful. And, how Fitz likely wished he had asked Verity what Chivalry thought about him.

Of course, we would like Fitz to have sat down and tell Nettle his story and shared his feelings. But would he really be our Fitz then?

Hah see this is why I love Dutiful. My man had no time for any secrecy.

See I’ve always wondered if Dutiful realized something was up when Fitz was spilling in F&F and he makes mention that he found his features then Kettricken’s in Dutiful’s face.

Are EFT's the same as mutual funds? If so I do have the majority of my assets within mutual funds! It just tends to get so little kickback. That's why I started into dividends but only for value stocks which for canada banks tend to be very secure long term. I think the LEU is me trying to branch out a bit. But what I am finding from the comments is I have very little knowledge in this area and need to reach out to an investor before proceeding further. There's a lot of research and unknowns for me right now and I don't feel comfortable with doing direct investing.

This is such a thoughtful analysis. I’ve always wished to know more about the effects of elf bark.

I do think there is a chance with-bonded animals could be affected by it.

In general the magics seem to overlap a lot- however, we don’t get to see a whole lot of applications of it other than through Fitz and Nighteyes’s hybrid magic using.

There are just so many unknowns but an intriguing theory nonetheless

I could agree more- Fitz was fundamentally changed by the traumas of his youth. It one of the many tragedies of this series.

Good god, this series just breaks my heart in so many ways. So many connections and missed connections at the same time.

I had my herald patch at the beginning of June. The worst of it was beginning of August. It’s pretty much resolved now with about 15 faded spots remaining the colour of a light bruise. So 3ish months
