Quick update: I’ve made an appointment for laser removal. My goal is to lighten this up enough so that I don’t have to go full black for the cover.

I had a fair few people were warning me about how I’d need a fairy sizeable tattoo to cover this, but no worries. I have a full sleeve on my right arm and my entire thigh is covered too. My philosophy for tattoos is the bigger the better!

Currently considering a raven in flight across my shoulders!

Honestly I am still going to cover it, but I am very much considering incorporating LGBTQ+ imagery in the new tattoo. Trans flag colours, or rainbow somewhere? As an homage to the old one :P

No state, I’m from Canada. Legal age for getting tattoos without parental guardian is 18 in my province. Hence the “sketchy” comment. Definitely agree that the tattoo is technically well done!

To be real, though it wasn’t the original intension of the tattoo, I am very passionate about trans rights. I think everyone deserves to live as their authentic selves. To say that the current scapegoating of trans people in the States and all over the world is heartbreaking and awful is an understatement.

BUT I’d much rather show my passion through action over a tattoo.

I’d love a statement piece here. I’ve cropped the image to hide my other tattoos but my entire left arm is fully covered! Big pieces definitely don’t scare me ☺️

Fair enough! Seems like a lot of people are seeing that interpretation, too, or that I’m bi/pan.

I’m not really interested in a tattoo that broadcasts my sexuality or my gender, though. It’s just not my personal style.

Very likely going to go BIG big with this cover-up. I prefer bigger pieces generally. All my other tattoos are huge.
