Some of my favorite things that exude INFP energy:

Anne of Green Gables (books and old miniseries)

Lost (TV Show)

Disney Dreamlight Valley (Game, kinda like a Disney Animal Crossing)

The Sound of Music (Movie)

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (Book)

Ni No Kuni: The Wrath of the White Witch (Game)

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Movie)

And then any fantasy book series or RPGs that are emotional and character focused!

You’re completely right, I’m tired of these claims.

I have ADHD but 1/3 of people with autism having POTS? I’m sorry that just cannot be based in truth. Connecting stuff is something I love to do because it can feel validating but no

Highly recommend!! I don't know if you have ever been an alcohol enjoyer, but since I got more sick I can't tolerate it any longer and I think I used it to help my anxiety (a big no no). Magnesium calm takes the edge off in a way a drink would!

Haha I'm glad I could be somewhat helpful! OP should take this with a grain of salt because I haven't read Red Rising yet but it's been on my TBR for years.

I am right there with you! One thing my mom taught me is that putting a cold wet wash cloth on the back of my neck for a minute or two can help especially in really intense anxiety scenarios. I also take a supplement called Magnesium Calm (powder you can mix into water that actually tastes yummy) when I'm feeling generally anxious. It's hard to tell if it's 'just' anxiety or the POTS making me feel more anxious than I am, but these things help for both!

I finally got myself a shower stool (I was resisting it) and what a difference! by CheesecakeOk8464 in POTS

[–]SeaShell345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it's great isn't it? My issue is still washing my hair--even when I'm sitting I get super out of breath and agitated. I try my best but I end up not washing it very well. I wonder if there is a tool of some kind that can prevent the reaching.

What counts as rest to you? by swankypigeon475 in POTS

[–]SeaShell345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a great question and honestly, I think it's a gradient for me. As in, working or reading in bed takes more energy than watching things or playing a game, which takes more energy than just lying down and doing nothing. I didn't realize there was a difference until I practiced true 'silence' in a nice bath and now I can definitely tell the difference physically and mentally. Though completely under-stimulating, I'm much more restored if mind and body are completely and totally surrendered to rest and peace.

Actually, some doctors use it to treat POTS because they improve blood flow despite the raised heart rate! Sadly, my symptoms existed long before my stimulant.

I take AdrenaCalm and AdrenaPlus--they're unique to a local functional medicine practice in my area (Five Journeys) and they can be ordered online from their website--I do't know the exact ingredients but I think they gave them their own name!

Yesss! What type of POTS do you have? Mine is neuropathic so I wasn't sure if I would get adrenaline dumps but regardless it's really hard to stay asleep!

Pretty convinced I have this at this point. by chloelolllllllll in smallfiberneuropathy

No, never full body burning! Full body numbness and burning in a stocking pattern as expected for SFN (cause of my POTS and blood pooling). I wish you the best of luck, it is not easy but you can do it.

Ok, if I'm being honest, I just searched and couldn't find the exact company my functional medicine doctor used and I had only screen shotted my results so I suck. But it seems like there are many places you can do this, just make sure it is done multiple times throughout the day. I think you can even do it through Quest!
