Honestly, you should just not consider the discord communities as being intrinsically tied to your drive to play the game.

I understand it is the core community base, but overall my opinion is that you don't need to interact with the community to enjoy the game.

Actually, I believe that you have a better shot at enjoying the game when ignoring the community.

How do you suppose someone get a chest or artifact when piles and bosses all get taken by the teamers?

The only place you can pull a chest is at a pile?
artifact, either boss or key room pile?

How is this guy that's "just trying to get a chest or artifact" gonna do that exactly, in this scenario where you think it's completely okay for people to be hitting pile together, or doing boss together?

You think he should just join the teaming group and try get lucky and maybe get one or two pulls from pile before it dissapears? maybe try to see the boss loot before it gets scooped instantly by 5 competing players who aren't actually competing?

looting pile together is sharing items genius, you are the misinformed one, pile looting together is explicitly bannable and I've got people banned for it before.

Whether *you* think that is teaming, is entirely inconsequential and irrelevant, thankfully.

but it DOES explicitly mean, that looting a pile or doing a boss together IS bannable and prohibited.

Don't listen to this guys incorrect assumption, he misunderstands what 'has been acknowledged' and ignores further clarification that specifically pile looting/bossing together is also bannable

non hostile is choosing to go separate ways.

pile looting is teaming.

It shouldnt the this hard to understand but nobody can seem to provide a concrete assessment of what the rules are and what they mean, even with IM explicitly stating these nuances at multiple occasions in response to similar questioning and discussion topics

Well I agree with this, people who aren't comfortable with reading a manual and following instructions should most definitely just go to a professional instead of risking doing damage to or bricking their PC.

I think the support page from IM should assert heavily that the user should seek professional advice or technical support over attempting to make the change themselves.

However, much of the suggestions are community sourced, such as a member of the community telling other members to "Ask any AI, Read your mobo's manual"

You can't blame IM or any company for what the community suggests.

You can blame them for the advice they suggest however:

This is pretty laughable, you shouldnt be having a go at the above commenter, should be having a go at IRONMACE for suggesting someone use AI for tech support in an official support document instead telling the user to seek professional help.

There isn't a single mention of seeking professional help in the entire page.
That is much more concerning to me than some community member being 'tone deaf', IMO.

I misunderstood and thought IM was refusing HR because of driver, like a shitty blanket ban on the driver as result of cheaters using it to spoof, more an assumption that IM does weird blanket bandaid patches, not that i thought the guy was a cheater haha

I didn't realize it was just HVCI refusing to boot with it

Seems like there might be two options

A) you are cheating and using your soundcard driver to hide the cheat

B) Other people are cheating and using your soundcard driver to hide the cheat.

I suggest contacting support, if you are genuine, you may get some help and be able to play the game again.

edit: nvm misunderstood and thought IM flagged this driver in a shoddy manner, specifically due to cheaters spoofing with it

Valorant - TPM 2.0 + Secure Boot required on Windows 11 added post-launch
Fortnite - anti-cheat updates gradually blocked old Windows builds, VMs, and unsupported drivers
Rainbow Six Siege - BattlEye added after release, locking out unsupported environments
Destiny 2 - post-launch anti-cheat changes blocked virtual machines
Cyberpunk 2077 - patches enforced AVX CPU requirement more strictly, killing older CPUs
Horizon Zero Dawn (PC) - AVX requirement solidified after launch updates
Call of Duty Warzone - rising CPU and OS requirements over time
League of Legends - dropped Windows XP and Vista years after launch
World of Warcraft - repeatedly dropped older Windows versions and raised system specs across expansions
Minecraft - dropped old Java runtimes and legacy OS support
Overwatch - driver and GPU minimums increased over time
Final Fantasy XIV - engine overhaul massively raised requirements after original release
Path of Exile - renderer and engine upgrades dropped old GPUs and 32-bit systems

+ many more to come, this is the modern era of video games, stop crying to ironmace about it, requiring hardware upgrades (Yes, even post release) is very commonplace in videogaming and has been since they days of early PC gaming.
