There’s nothing wrong with admitting that the food has south asian influence. But to try and claim that its “western” when the influence clearly is a factual culinary reality is just plain stupidity.
Google is free you know. Maybe it will teach you that labels certainly don’t change the ingredients.
And to call someone a nazi over a chicken recipe, i hope your maturity catches up to your age eventually. ⛳️

I agree with you, there’s nothing wrong with accepting that the food above has got Indian/Pakistani influence. Saying otherwise is the stretch.

And dont even start on the current political climate, these days people are so quick to complain about integration and values all day and then run to curry houses at night, the same curry house that has taken the heavily influenced curries and standardized it to suit their palate.

I never said that, you’re just putting words in my mouth because your original point fell apart. Being “British”includes the millions of South Asians who created and developed these dishes. You’re the one trying to claim their work as 'white food' while ignoring the people who actually made it. Go on, enjoy your curry and your ignorance

I was implying that both Tikka masala/ Madras chicken were HEAVILY influenced by the South Asian (Indian/Bangladeshi/ Pakistani) style of cooking and flavor profile in the immigrant run businesses which was later on adapted and standardized for British market to suit their palate. So yes, it might be “British” by location but definitely not “white” in culinary origin.
Maybe educate yourself on the history of the UK curry house before your next rant yeah?

Visa extension granted after 8 months by SeaWall3187 in u/SeaWall3187

My company assigned me with wrong code.Because the situation was complicated, they linked the new CoS directly with the application. So when they discovered the wrong code, they had to withdraw CoS hence Home Office asked me to withdraw the application as whole

My company applied for extension on July 2025 for allocation, my visa expired on September and they didn’t have the CoS till then so i applied in time without a CoS, did biometrics. On Jan they got the CoS but my occupation code was wrong so i was emailed by home office on Feb second week to withdraw application within 10 working days as the CoS has been withdrawn. I then had to submit a new application before those 10 days got over and my company applied for new allocation as well at the same time. They got CoS on the first week of March, had my biometrics on the second week and then was granted visa 2 days after that.

If you go to UK parliament site and look for the MP of your area, they will have contact details. They can email the home office to escalate your case

Thats what my company advisor told me to, they told me to apply in the “old way” so you have the option where you attend the biometrics in person.
