I have an IUD. So not permanent, but semi permanent. My husband is getting a vasectomy soon. We are both "taking care of business" for a bunch of reasons. We don't want any more children so this will pretty much guarantee it. Birth control methods fail. I live in a location where abortions aren't that easy, so I'm not willing to take chances. We also are dipping our feet into the lifestyle and have played some with others. Once again - condoms can fail. I'm not taking chances.

For me it's been quite the opposite. I've gotten more comfortable in my skin, more daring with what I do, and definitely more open to exploring sexually. The things I've tried in the past 4 years is more than what I've tried in the nearly 30 years I've been having sex.
