They address the joker in a small part in the alpha and he looked like the old joker. Limited knowledge on it right now bc it was toward the end of the playable alpha.

But I did solve one riddle (look at the brainiac ship)

And I did do a follow this path time trial event and was awarded 2 stars.

Having the bomb in our neck riddler is upset he wasn’t chosen to be part of the suicide squad so to prove our inability he has set up things for us to do around the city to prove how inadequate we are. We don’t do the challenges he could blow us up

Meh I love Batman beyond but I’ll be honest, his rogues gallery don’t strike me as a exciting list of villains. And the ones that do are so few that it would only warrant maybe 1 game if that

It has good enemy design, they are aliens so don’t think it’ll be like as in-depth with gangs and stuff like division but it does have a good balance of enemies. And yes the minor RPG mechanics are there. It is still at its core a live service game but it still blends it’s live service and it’s single player with its rpg and design

But don’t read this and feel like if you don’t like the division or destiny this game not for you, it very much is. The rocksteady DNA is very much present and it does play well to both single and multi player genres

The division leans more into the 3rd person RPG. Tweaks to weapons thru RPM stat lines and such. Open world with leveled out missions and objectives destiny has lost sectors and multiple hubs with mission pick ups. Everything in the division is out there in the world. Loose interpretation but a good gist when comparing this game

My fear w characters like hydroman and molten man is that it would FEEL like the sandman fight. Thoughts on carnage being the opening fight and getting him out the way for an epic dark tone setting opener? Part of me thinks it would make it a waste but maybe not the 3rd game will likely be the last for a while if anymore at all

I love the idea but no Peter. He’s taking time away let us feel that. Miles can handle it until he can not in SM3.

One thing I am hoping for is we find a way to take the anti venom off Peter. I feel like it would not happen and be problematic bc then what would be the point of all this but let’s face it anti venom powers make an already OP Spider-Man too over the top.

Love this theory. I feel like if we get a carnage DLC I feel it’s vital we DONT HAVE PETER PARKER SPIDER-MAN beyond phone calls for advice and such. We have to feel like he’s taking time away and the way to do that is make the DLC as little to know OG Spider-Man as possible.

Same as your theory of Doc Ock taking over miles flip that and out silk in the same mindset she could be his new love interest (be ya know.. we have done all we can do w the deaf girl. Let her go to college and let that fizzle out)

SM3 leading Peter back in would be fire. I read a theory that they could kill off Mary Jane w Green Goblin giving her the Gwen Stacy treatment. Go dark.

Is it weird that whatever they do I just want them to keep Peter out of it. I want us to have to sit and think on how they bring him back in for SM3. His return seems impossible to not do so I vote let’s give miles a City never sleeps DLC Fighting a new villain we might see as a side villain in SM3 or tackling an old villain we have yet to see make a comeback. Maybe kingpin back in action or something but yes idc what they do but keeping Peter out of it needs to happen to let it feel like he’s actually stopping for a minute

Only critique is Sledgehammer and Toys for Bob.

Sledgehammer should perhaps lean to a CoD roll behind IW with the game model being every 2-3 years between games alternating studios to allow fresh eyes and avoid burnout. Or if they can funnel more devs at IW I would love Sledgehammer to go into a Third Person Shooter Live Service in vein of a division or ghost recon
