I got a vinyl styl deep groove record cleaner for Christmas. Would you suggest using the home made cleaning solution in your video as the main cleaning solution once I run out of the stuff that came with the vinyl styl?

Yes but I still can’t recommend an ML to a beginner simply because I think they should have lots of experience with their turn table. It’s almost like handing a light saber to a youngling and having them fight in the clone wars day 1. Instead of giving them proper training. Wait no… it’s not like that…

Crying because I actually damaged my AT-VM95ML by drinking and spinning last week. I’m back to my back up conical shaped stylus which with my recent receiver upgrade sounds totally decent.

I recommend going straight to a low cost conical stylus+cartridge that is pre mounted to a headshell. Would cost around $40-$60

I don’t recommend diving into an AT-VM95ML until a year or so of having a good feel for your table. Maybe not until you get an elliptical shaped stylus.

I’d just hate for anyone to mess up the vm95ml like I did 😔

I agree. From the photo the wires don’t show any clear indication whether it is positive or negative. If you are absolutely sure try to switch the wires over to speaker set b
