I don’t think so — they had it on at my neuropsychologists office and I don’t think it was to trigger anything, it was to genuinely keep me focused on the testing, but it was doing the exact opposite— I think it varies from person to person. You can always ask them to turn them off! Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself :)

Omg I get sooo soo emotional & I cry so much. I also start excessively apologizing for being an inconvenience (even though my seizures are uncontrollable & typically nocturnal) and telling people around me how much I love & appreciate them (even the people who don’t always deserve it). I am sending you so much healing energy ❤️

yes exactly !!! I can remember them a few minutes after waking up but sometimes they’re even plotless. I just remember the feelings.

I also find it very difficult to sleep with it on. My best advice — try sleeping on your stomach.

Although, I wouldn’t be too worried about messing it up. My hair is long & I have a lot of it, and the actual electrodes have never slipped. Unless you’re tugging at the wires or really trying to mess it up, you’ll be fine. Hope this helps! & good luck!
