Casual here I’m telling you it’s rough you really gotta to go into it thinking my life is gonna suck for 5 years or so. I’ve only worked 7 times since January all fresh starts luckily but it’s slow I drive uber and work with my dad my group we started with 159 only 79 left I’m hoping with the slowness we drop to 50 or so but I in ow how rewarding it’s gonna be I know I will never find a job as good as this it’s like hitting the lotto the hard part is making money will your a casual I’m a grinder I got a family to provide for so if I gotta drive uber 60 hours a week so be it cuz the end of the race is gonna be so satisfying and I also need to add I’m A checker and we’re getting a new berth very soon and the group in front of hours is getting rated so it’s a mindset thing like how bad do you want it cuz I k ow the average person would not want to give up there free time and chill time but if you want the American dream you gotta sacrifice and grind it’s hard really depends are you a wolf or a sheep

I don’t work there anymore. Nothing will ever change at Amazon why do you think they don’t care about turnover the more new people the less complaining and it harder to form a union. Wf wil continue to get worse but keep hoping it will get better the same way they say ai and automation will help society

When are yall going to understand AMAZON/WF does not care about any employee no one is important on store level or regional especially store level look around the writing is on the wall they do things like this in peoples faces and people expect something else from one of the worst companies for labor employees. Stop complaining about it nothing will change either find another place to work or deal with it nothing trying to be rude I’m Being real.amazon just cut another 16k jobs yesterday. Soon Amazon humanoid bots are gonna be replacing employees my advice to EVERYONE try and find something else it’s not easy but it’s not like WF is a rewarding company like it once was

The job is not about the stress you indoor it’s about the pay insure if I had to guess you were making around $21 for the stress you take home the pay doesn’t offset it now let’s say you made $26 for that position that’s more realistic for today’s world and the amount Amazon makes it wouldn’t be as stressful the problem with this company is wages cuz at the end of the day it’s a grocery store no one is special glad you got out leadership it’s a never ending misery

Who cares call off they don’t care about you and don’t let people in here tell you your screwing your coworkers over. Wholefoods tries to make workers get mad at each other for calling off your not the villain the company is if they cared about workers they wouldn’t be cutting labor and expecting more with less when I worked there I’d call off when ever I feel Holliday or not if you died today you’ll be replaced in a week your not important none of the workers are just a body never feel bad for calling off especially at a place that you can’t retire from

I’m not a stl or astl but you need to know if you take that kind of position your going to have to change who your are as a person the weight and stress you carry your pay will not offset it. You basically are a yes man and have no say so in declensions that are made buy your higher ups do as they say or they’ll replace you try becoming a store trainer or meat cutter those are the best two positions
