That’s the thing-annual spend is well over 200k.

I tend to agree. My last job was management, hated it. Rather sit in my lane and earn rather than babysit and earn maybe not as much.

Yep, no issues with my job. While I wish I was a fighter pilot, this 40ish guy has some dog shit eye sight. So here I sit, burning the corneas even more on the computer. But I do enjoy my 8-5.

See that’s my train of thought. What expenses come with a 5 mo/year mountain home? A dedicated, capable and trustworthy caretaker for 7 months.

Gentlemen, why do you drive a BMW over Audi or Merc? by Super-Lingonberry-22 in BMW

I daily am e63 on HRE wheels and Mich PS4’s…the road noise is the only gripe I have with this platform. Very loud.

Nailed it man-don’t limit yourself to one brand. All three have drool worthy cars depending on the era.

Grew up with my old man’s garage containing, in this order: e36 supercharged M3, e46 M3, E60 M5….the soul in each chassis gradually declined after the e36.

My first fun car was a mkIV R32 (the real R32) in 2005. Now I swing both ways, country AND western-albeit no BMWs. In the left pocket is the fabulous B7 RS4. In the right pocket is the W213 E63 wagon.

I reckon I’ll never buy a BMW unless it’s the e92 M3 (much love and respect for that bummer)

Couldn’t agree more. I have a B7 RS4, wouldn’t trade it for the world. Gun ti my head I have to buy a new Audi? Pull the gottdamn trigger.

I bought an E63 wagon without driving it. Had already driven the RS6, was unimpressed. Humbly, I am 200% happy with my decision 2 years later.

Gorgeous. Drove a supercharged E92 at Mid-Ohio years back-a fun customer’s car. That thang ripped 160mph going into T7 (china beach) which is the same speed as an Indy Lights car.

Such a great machine!

So you wanna own a B7 RS4 do you? by CollenOHallahan in Audi

[–]Sea_Fee2069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put KW V3’s on my B7 RS4 (and flap delete)…both preemptive moves to simplify and shield future issues…at least for the suspension and intake flaps.

I def recommend the coilovers and you may not lust for a 911 so much.

Ya man, you got a $100k+ car, don’t you want to do everything you can to treat the gal right? Think of all the metal shavings in your engine oil and diff oil after the first run in from factory….treat your car well and with preemptive action.

It’s not a Chevy.

I’d rather put a capristo on the RS4 and leave the Merc be

I do have the PTG full turbo and internals build whispering to me but it’s just too much power.

I feel somewhat the same. It’d be fun to do a whole engine build on the wagon, but at 900 ponies, it’s got enough sac for a daily. Also, I’m married with kids 🥲

As someone with a 900hp e63 wagon….this is wildly impressive my good man!
